Claire finds out for the first time that Leo is really like a child when he is sleeping. He’s really like Conan.
If Leo doesn’t have hatred in his heart, he may be a naive and pure person. How good that will be.
Claire makes a decision in her heart, which is probably the most important decision in her life. If Leo really wakes up, she is willing to tell all the stories of the past for Leo. She will let Leo really remember the things that Leo forgot because of memory loss.
Then Claire and he will forget the past hatred. For Conan, she would like to stay with Leo.
If everything is pure, she is willing to start again.
Like Conan, Claire believes Leo is not a bad person. Maybe no one in the world is born evil. She also hopes that Conan will live in an environment full of goodwill and without hatred in the future.
Although it’s hard to make this decision, it’s really a pleasant one.
Claire can’t help but hold Leo’s cold hand. She wants to convey her temperature and determination to the sleeping Leo.
Wake up.
Claire puts her face on the bed and is very tired. She closes her eyes quietly and has a long lost sincere smile on her lips.

Breakfast is so casual that Conan is upset.
In front of Conan is a plate with a sausage and a broken fried egg and a glass of unheated milk beside it.
“Uncle Luke, you’re rich, but why don’t you hire servants?” Conan complains and looks for knives and forks, but he finds that there are no such two things on the table. Luke is too careless.
Conan used to live in Luke’s house, but he never had such a casual breakfast. Although Luke doesn’t like to hire a maid, he can make breakfast.
But today’s breakfast is like this.
Luke takes the knives and forks out of the kitchen but doesn’t give them to Conan. He frowns and says, “if you want to eat, let me know.”
Conan wants to tell Luke, but he finds Luke’s eagerness interesting, so he puts it off.
“I’m hungry.” Conan protests, “if I’m full, I’ll have the strength to talk.”
Luke says coldly, “No. Let’s take a step back. You eat and you say it.”
Conan grabs the knife and fork impatiently. He puts the sausage in his mouth first and then says vaguely, “sit down. Don’t fall down later.”
Luke says, “I’m a gentleman. I’ve seen...”
Before he finishes, Conan swallows the bad sausage and casually says, “I’m the hacker you’re looking for.”

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
