Luke says, “so you’re going to help Howard Group?”
Tracy nods and says, “I said it’s possible if you keep the appointment. I do what I say, but some bitches break their promises.”
Tracy means Claire didn’t sign the deal at the last minute. It’s ridiculous. She’s mean but she wants people to keep their promises.
But Luke is not going to argue with Tracy about it. He finds that Tracy says she may help Howard Group.
“Miss Wilson, can you explain it directly? Why do you refuse to return but now you say it’s possible?”
Luke finds it hard to control his emotions. There seems to be a weak torch in his heart slowly baking his viscera.
Tracy smiles and suddenly stands up and sits next to Luke. She whispers, “Mr. Luke, don’t you understand? Because of you, of course.”
Luke is trying to get angry, but he feels his body is a little different. He suddenly feels very hot.
What’s the matter with this feeling?
Luke clenches his fist and takes a deep breath.
The only explanation is that Tracy put medicine in the wine!
But now he can control himself. Luke represses that feeling and says, deadpan, “Miss Wilson, don’t be kidding. Although Leo is still in a coma, you are still his fiancee.”
Luke finally knows what the woman wants to do. She is trying to frame him!
As for the deeper reason behind it, he does not understand it.
The only thing Luke can do now is to draw a line with her and try to control himself. If he does something, he will suffer all his life.
Tracy doesn’t speak and leans on Luke’s shoulder. Her fingers move slowly on Luke’s knees.
Luke’s first reaction is to push the bitch away, but his body reacts.
So he doesn’t dare move. He becomes a wooden man in a flash.
But the wooden man is clenching his fist and breathing deeply.
At this point, Luke tries to close his eyes. It isn’t those nasty scenes in his mind but Kate’s face.
Maybe he will have less desire in his heart.
...
Kate is really drinking with Claire at this time. Claire just wants to make an excuse, but she finds Kate wants to drink.
Kate is better at drinking than the average girls, so Claire doesn’t care.
They drink in a pub. At first, they talk about their recent situations, but when alcohol plays a role, they keep talking about their troubles to each other.
Claire says a lot, but Kate finds out that she keeps talking about Leo. She hates Leo, but if as Claire says, everyone can let go of their inner hatred, it’s good.
Kate first complains about many troubles in her life, and finally they talk about Luke at Claire’s insistence.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
