On the way to the place, Claire is anxious. Although Conan suspects it’s about Leo, Claire remembers Luke’s anxious tone and feels uncomfortable.
Does Leo have an accident? Or does Luke want to tell her that Leo didn’t want to see her before because he lost his memory?
The more Claire thinks about it, the more upset she gets. Just then, the taxi arrives at the place she has arranged with Luke.
It’s a western restaurant.
Claire is confused. Why does Luke meet her in the western restaurant? And this western restaurant is the best in the city. Claire knows it’s mainly for lovers.
She and Luke are not lovers. Claire complains that Luke doesn’t know the details. Is he really a rich kid?
But maybe it’s because Luke’s not far away. Claire can’t wait to walk in.
Claire didn’t eat in this western restaurant before, but she hears it is very popular. But Claire feels weird the moment she walks in.
Western restaurants should be quiet, but Claire thinks it’s too quiet.
Claire walks through the dark, long corridor and finds that there is no sound or light. It’s very dark.
These are nothing. The key is that there is no one in the restaurant.
Is it closed?
To be honest, Claire still feels terrible now. Does she enter another dimension?
“Luke, are you there?” Claire looks around the dark interior of the restaurant and hopes to see Luke, but she shouts several times without anyone answering her.
Claire complains and takes out her cell phone and wants to call Luke.
At this time, soft lights appears in the dim restaurant. The place is rendered like a dream in the light.
The feeling of horror and desolation disappears and warmth replaces them.
When the light spilles over the restaurant, the soothing music begins to ring. It is gentle at first and it is like being blown by the wind. Slowly the sound begins to get a little louder, and the same tune starts in all directions at the same time.
But Claire feels familiar with the piece.
“Claire!”
When Claire falls into this strange dream, a magnetic male voice calls her name.
No, it’s not Luke.
What?
Something in Claire’s heart suddenly wakes up. As soon as she turns her head, she sees Leo in a handsome suit slowly coming out of the shadow.
Claire can see it’s Leo, but she thinks it’s incredible. Her eyes widen.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
