Leo releases Claire Bennett and continues to say, “So you’d better be obedient and don’t make me angry!”
Claire ignores what Leo Howard had said. She has made up her mind before, so she gives up her suitcase and goes straight to the door.
Leo says coldly, “Claire Bennett, don’t you want to know about your father? If you don’t want to see him, you can go. Even if you go back home, no one will tell you about your father. Ha...”
Threat, a complete threat.
But when she hears the words of her father, Claire Bennett seems to be bound by some kind of power.
She missed her father she hadn’t seen for a long time. In these circumstances, the feeling of missing turns into sadness and anger which is difficult to resolve.
Claire’s body trembles, but she still clenches her lips tightly, without saying a word. She turns and looks at Leo Howard with a sharp look.
Leo Howard just pretends to organize his suit. While he slaps the folds on the suit, he says, “I know your father’s situation, but if you make me unhappy, I will not tell you. If I can’t find you, I have to vent my grievances to your father...”
“Stay or leave, you can do whatever you want.” Leo Howard leaves when he said these words.
Claire Bennett stands still in the spot and feels dizzy at the moment. How could this be?
Soon after, the maid’s voice sounds, “Claire Bennett, the music school send you a document today, please look over!”
Music school? file?
Claire Bennett takes the file and has an unpredictable hunch in her heart. After opening the file, she finds that it is a music school notice of suspension!
There are a lot of messages written on the document, but the general idea is that Claire Bennett is expelled from the Conservatory of Music. For the reasons, it was all inexplicable. In particular, the competition with Qi Elizabeth has also been included.
Claire Bennett feels uncomfortable. She doesn’t expect Bryce to leave. Music school’s chairman changed people. So quickly, she is hit by all directions.
But who do it?
Claire Bennett doesn’t understand, is it Leo Howard?
He not only insults her at home, but also makes her have no place to stand outside.
Claire Bennett feels more and more disheartened, but she is not willing to bow in front of Leo Howard. She says to herself, “You want to see my wolverine, and I won’t let you see.”
This breakfast is undoubtedly tormented for Claire Bennett, but she still goes.
Throughout the breakfast, Leo Howard and Emma talks and laughs, and even the maid seems to be infected with their happy atmosphere.
Claire eats breakfast alone in quiet, as nothing has happened.
Anyway, in Claire’s mind, they are just humiliating, not jealous.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
