They eat happily when Claire comes back from shopping, but after a while Claire suddenly feels sick in her stomach. She puts down her lunch box and runs to the bathroom and vomits.
She doesn’t eat much so she is retching. Claire feels as if her stomach has shrunk to the size of her fist. The severe pain leaves her cold and pale.
Claire washes her face with water after she vomits. She sits beside Kate’s bed in a daze.
“What’s the matter with you?” Kate asks worriedly, “Claire, are you ok?”
Claire waves. She looks at the food aside and says, “you can eat it. Suddenly I have no appetite. I don’t want to eat!”
With that, Claire gets everything Kate needs for hospitalization ready and gets up to leave.
To leave the hospital, she has to go through Emma’s ward, so Claire is afraid of encountering Leo and being embarrassed by him. So she walks very fast.
Fortunately, she doesn’t run into Leo before leaving the hospital. As she breathes a sigh of relief, she suddenly finds Leo standing beside a parked car on the side of the road.
Claire is nervous. She subconsciously turns and is about to leave, but Leo stops her.
Leo is standing there. It seems that the whole space is frosted by his existence. Claire’s already bruised body trembles even more.
“Are you sure you want to run?” Leo’s cold words hit Claire exactly like an arrow. She can’t get away.
In that case, she doesn’t have to dodge. Claire clenches her teeth and closes her eyes and walks up to Leo with a wry smile.
“Get in.” Leo says coldly.
Claire is reluctantly led to the car by Leo.
But he doesn’t embarrass her. He just takes her home.
Claire goes straight to sleep because of a stomach upset.
But in the second half of the night, Claire feels trapped by something.
Claire suddenly opens her eyes and sees that Leo is pressing on her.
“Ah!” Claire screams. She tries to resist, but her resistance makes Leo’s invasion easier.
Claire has no choice. She forgets that this is Leo’s home, and Leo has the key to any room. Even if she locks the door, he can come in.
Leo’s eyes glow at night. He is like a greedy wolf, which makes Claire feel cold and scared.
It doesn’t make sense whether she obeys or not. Claire is tortured by him for almost a night.
At last, Claire’s body is almost numb, but Leo refuses to let her go.
The night is long. She is cruelly tortured.
But Claire doesn’t know if she should be happy that she doesn’t die in the end. But she is exhausted to the extreme.

The readers' comments on the novel: Genius Son Sells his Mom to Dad
The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
