Claire is shocked. She guesses right. She immediately gets out of bed and tries to run out, but Emma stops her. “Claire, you’d better know yourself. You should have an abortion!”
Leo doesn’t speak. He looks at them indifferently. As soon as he thinks that Claire is pregnant with Bryce’s baby, his heart can’t calm down.
Claire yells, “Leo, you can punish me. You can beat me and scold me. My baby is innocent. Don’t be so cruel.”
“I’m cruel? Claire, ask yourself. How many times have I forgiven you? But you don’t correct it. You want to give birth to Bryce’s baby. Do you want to witness the crystallization of your love?”
Leo sneers and orders to the bodyguards who come in, “now let her miscarry.”
With that, the two men walk over and rudely drag Claire out of bed. They’re taking her to the obstetrics and gynecology department.

The storyline could have been better -- organization and cohesion of episodes could stand improvement, ending could have been more definitive resolving the many conflicts between the protagonists. Of course, the despicable treatment of Leo towards Claire initially, e.g., selling her off in an auction and giving her to the madam of the club as princess is inhuman and a violation to the wife's rights and honor. I was wondering why she did not leave after these maltreatments. Oh, well, the conclusion [if the narrative ends in Chapter 488] is quite disappointing and anti-climactic. Thank you just the same....
The end of the story is wanting, considering how the episodes build up to conflict after conflict and concluding in yet another conflict. But then c'est la vie! Thank you....
