Chapter 139 What’re You Got to Do With It?
When Samara woke up, it was already dark. When she opened her eyes, she could not see anything.
After she found her phone and turned on the light, Samara realized that it was already past seven in the evening.
After she came back from the hospital, she had taken the medicine and slept. Now, she felt much better.
The things that had happened today gradually came to her mind. Thinking of Roland, Samara had a headache.
She was indeed in a bad state today. When Roland came over, she had a high fever. When she came back from the hospital and took the medicine, she only wanted to sleep. The whole day, she was not very clear–headed. It also gave Roland a chance to
stay in her house.
Thinking that Roland had not left yet and was waiting for her outside the room, Samara sighed.
Samara had been chased by many people since she was a child. But after she was in her second year of middle school, she became a tough girl. She was beautiful and cool. And she always had high grades. In school, she was both a good student and a
bad student.
During the second year of middle school, there were many boys who confessed to her. Most of the boys in their adolescence
were shy. But there were a few boys that Samara didn’t know how to deal with. Samara told them that if their grades could be higher than hers, she would agree to be their girlfriend. But all of them failed.
Later on, Samara came to Houston. There were not many people who dared to chase after Samara. Most of them could only
silently admire Samara in their hearts.
When Samara grew up, she went to Chicago to enter a university. More and more people started to chase after Samara.
However, Samara could deal with them easily.
After all, she wouldn’t be attracted only because the person who chased her was rich. Those who were good–looking were not as outstanding as her, and those who were more outstanding than her were not as good–looking as her.
If she really met someone who was shameless, Samara would ask him to go to the boxing arena to practice. And that man would directly give up.
However, Roland was different.
Roland was not that shameless. He just kept staying with Samara. But today, he took a tough stance.
Roland knew what to do. Whenever she felt that he had crossed the line, he suddenly retreated..
For a while, Samara really didn’t know what to do with him.
After all, Roland said that if Samara didn’t want to be in a relationship, he wouldn’t pursue her.
The phone in her palm vibrated. Samara came to her senses and got up from the bed.
Samara looked around. Gisselle, who was on the sofa, came over with a glass of warm water. “Who are you looking for? Mr. Garza?”
Samara took the glass of water and lowered her head to drink “When did you come over?”
