Go Away, I'm a Billionairess Now (Samara and Chaim) novel Chapter 256

Chapter 256 She Just Doesn’t Care

This was the second time Samara had come to this restaurant. She wasn’t familiar with it, so she ordered two signature dishes. 25

Hearing the dishes Samara ordered, Natalee added a dish and a soup.

Samara closed the menu. The waiter went forward to take their menu and turned to leave. Only Samara and Natalee were left in the room.

Before Natalee came, she had thought of a lot of words to say, but when Natalee saw Samara, Natalee found that she did not know what to say.

Natalee knew that Samara was completely different from the past and it was useless for her to sweet talk Samara.

However, when Natalee thought of the days when Chaim, who had never been close to her, suddenly found her and asked about what happened to Samara in the past three years, Natalee felt more determined and took the initiative to say, “I’m sorry, Samara. You are so busy, and I even asked you out.”

Samara had been silently sipping her tea, waiting for Natalee to speak. Hearing Natalee’s words, Samara smiled faintly. Samara said, “Mrs. Humphrey, it doesn’t matter. It should be me who should apologize. You have asked me out so many times, and today I have the time to see you, but I am late. I am sorry to have made you wait for me for so long.”

Every word Samara said was respectful, and she behaved politely, but it showed that she had cut herself off from the relationship with Natalee.

Hearing Samara’s humble but polite words, Natalee didn’t know what to say. The room quieted down, and Natalee sat there awkwardly.

Samara listened to Natalee’s words and did not speak. Samara kept smiling.

Just as Natalee finished speaking, the waiter pushed the dining cart in to serve the dishes. Samara smiled and said, “Mrs. Humphrey, let’s eat first.”

As Samara spoke, she took a fork and handed it to Natalee.

Natalee looked at Samara. Samara was still smiling as if she had not heard what Natalee had just said, or perhaps Samara had heard it, but Samara just did not care.
