Kale came out into the courtyard, his face taut as he spotted Yvonne stepping out of the car.

Yvonne cast a pointed glance at the mansion, its windows flickering with light, and arched an eyebrow. "Is he really resting, or is he inside with another woman?"

Turning to her chauffeur, she ordered, "Take the car back and tell my dad that I'll be staying here."
