Goodbye, Mr. Ex: I've Remarried Mr. Right novel Chapter 914

Liza had been unable to kick Debra out the day before in front of Drake, but today, Debra had to go.

"You sure? Fine, I'll go," Debra said, walking towards the door.

But no sooner had she taken a few steps than Drake's voice echoed from upstairs. "Stop."

Liza glared at him. "What do you mean? I told her to leave. Didn't you hear me?"

"Mrs. Houston is our guest. It would be inappropriate if we let her leave dressed like that," Drake said, descending the stairs.

He nodded at Kale, who draped a blanket over Debra's shoulders.

"I have to go out tonight, so I'll have someone escort her home. What do you think, Mrs. Houston?" Drake said.

Debra remained silent. Liza looked from him to Debra, her anger rising. "Are you dull? I need her to leave now."

Annoyed by her commanding tone, Drake shot her a cold glance.

Liza faltered and fell silent.

Cathryn quickly intervened. "Mr. Lowe is right. Let's have her escorted home tonight."

"But..." Liza started to protest.

"Didn't you say you wanted to go shopping today? I'll go with you. By the time we return, Mrs. Houston will be gone," Cathryn suggested.

Liza relented, albeit reluctantly. "Fine, for your sake, I won't argue with her. Otherwise, I'd kick her out right now."

Cathryn forced a smile.
