The heart–wrenching voice behind them made Griffon stop. 

He slowly turned around and looked down at Jackson. When he spoke, the commanding power of his Alpha wolf infused his words with warning. 

“She’s my woman. I can touch her if I want. What right do you 

have to forbid me from doing so?”

His powerful and arrogant aura made Jackson, who was kneeling on the floor, look like a despicable dog rather than the strong Alpha he was. 

The pack guards held him down and forced him to remain kneeling on the ground. His amber wolf eyes were fixed on Taya in Griffon’s arms.
