Actually, the video recording was an accident. When Alexander took out his phone, he was operating it with one hand. Just as he raised it, he heard Isabella complimenting him on acquiring paparazzi skills, which made him flinch, causing his hand to press directly on the screen. It was only when he put away phone that he realized the video had automatically been saved. 

Probably influenced by his family’s casual atmosphere, he didn’t delete it immediately at that time. He thought that if his family members wanted to see it, he would just send it to the group chat. 

Initially, it was with a sense of trial and error, hoping to capture something on tape. Little did he know he would end up capturing such a scene. 

Hence, when things had spiraled out of control, Alexander sent the video to Christopher, asking him to discreetly handle the situation. On the surface, due to their relationship and interests, it wasn’t appropriate for them to take direct action. However, they could still work behind the scenes. 

On the big screen, a clandestinely filmed scene from outside the door was displayed. It showed the standoff between the two individuals, along with their conversation that left much to the imagination.

Everyone assumed that Audrey was feeling guilty about her relationship with Josiah. 

The very next moment, a gasp of surprise echoed through the room. 

“It really was a setup.” 

In an instant, Audrey felt as if she had been struck by lightning. 

Only then did everyone notice that after ending the conversation, when Dakota turned around, Audrey smoothly removed her necklace and slipped it into the bag Dakota had set aside. 

The entire crime process was captured on film, and the malicious intent was laid bare for all to see. 

Even though Audrey had her mouth open, looking as if she wanted to argue, she simply didn’t know 

where to start 

She was completely engulfed by the collapsing world around her. 

Right then, she knew it was over. 

With eyes blazing red, she stared at the large screen, seemingly unable to comprehend why things had turned out this way. 

“Audrey?” Lorelei couldn’t believe what she was seeing. She stepped forward and grasped Audrey’s arm. 

Noah was so infuriated that his eyes seemed ready to pop out. 

Both the dubious relationship between Josiah and Audrey and the entrapinent under the public eye were huge scandals that would turn the Hampton family into the laughingstock of high society. 

George Shepard and Helen Laverock, Audrey’s parents were naturally present. They were aware that Audrey and Josiah used to be in a relationship.
