Healing my disabled husband novel Chapter 778

Chapter 778 You like my brother, too

Matilda noticed Averi's silence and decided not to push any further. She closed the video call silently and sent some comforting words in the group chat instead.
After regaining her composure, Averi decided not to dwell too much on this issue until she figured out her own thoughts first.
She didn't want to limit herself prematurely by jumping into conclusions without fully understanding what these feelings meant.
So instead of talking about it anymore with anyone else or even herself yet again, she simply started sending emojis into their group chat as usual- something they all knew.
That meant that things were okay between them despite whatever personal issues might be going through each individual member's mind right now.
Beata stood outside the door, knocked on the door, heard Averi's voice, and poked her head in, "Averi, I'm here to play with you."
The cat was in Averi's arms. As soon as it saw Beata, it jumped off and rushed towards Beata.
Beata immediately screamed excitedly, picked up the cat and hugged it high.
Averi was a little bit dumbfounded. Although this cat was clingy to everyone, it was still the closest to her.
Now, when it saw Beata, it ran over, not paying attention to its "mother" at all.
Beata came over with the cat in her arms, twisted to Averi's side, and sat down cautiously.
Averi could feel that Beata was a little uncomfortable.
She looked at Beata suspiciously and asked, "What's wrong? If you have anything to say, just say it."
Beata covered the corners of her mouth and said, "Averi, am I bothering you?"
"Huh?" Averi looked at Beata suspiciously, as if she didn't understand why she would ask such a question.
Beata said, "I just want to make myself happy, and I haven't thought about it for you. Some of my behaviors have really caused you trouble."
Averi understood what she meant, smiled, and said, "It's not that serious. You see, I'm still your friend. This shows that I didn't take this matter to heart."
"But, you really don't think I'm troublesome?" Beata said.
She didn't even dare to look at Averi's face.
She didn't dare to look at Averi's expression at all.
Beata knew very well in her heart that Averi didn't haggle over it. This was Averi's generosity, but this was not the capital that she can be willful.
Averi turned her head, looked at Beata, raised her hand and touched her head, saying, "Beata, in fact, logically speaking, I should really be a little unhappy, but I am not. For me, it's quite strange, and I'm still in the process of exploring the reason."
Beata was confused, but there was one thing that Beata understood.
She approached Averi and said with a smile, "Averi, if you tell me this, it means that, in fact, you like my brother too."
Averi froze for a moment, then looked at Beata. This answer was naturally not easy to answer.
Beata was still staring at Averi closely, trying to get an answer from her expression.
