Heart Stolen by A Heartless Man novel Chapter 18

Greyson leaned against the wall with a cold expression.

What was the reason that caused Hattie to be poisoned?

Did she want to leave him because she was poisoned?

He laughed at himself, how could that be?

She left him for the money and for Jensen King.

For Jensen, for the money, she would rather have aborted her own child.

He had heard her saying that she loved Jensen and had been fond of him since she was in university.

She had only married Greyson because of the similarity between him and Jensen’s back!

It was all about lies. All those tender feelings in the past were all lies to him!

He was just a replacement of Jensen after he left the country.

Such a woman…

It was better to die!

Greyson tightened his fingers.

But…

Ten minutes later.

“Young master, anything needs help?” The subordinate received a call from Greyson which his voice was fearful.

“You go and help me to find out what happen between my father and Hattie.” Greyson said with a lower voice.

“Yes.” The subordinate quickly answered when he got the order.

Greyson tightened his grip on his phone, his eyes turned blurry.

He hoped the truth better not be what he thought.

But then again, he hoped it would be what he thought.

Greyson pressed on his forehead.

He said Hattie was cheap, but in fact he himself… wasn’t much better.

He couldn’t get his heart back when he saw Hattie lying on the sick bed in the ward.

The phone rang unexpectedly and Greyson picked it up with some impatience, “Hello? ... going to go now? … I got it.”

Hanging up the phone, his annoyed expression increased more.

How come he was asked to talk about the project at this juncture…

Greyson went speechless.

Still, Jensen came to the hospital.

He couldn’t rest assured about Hattie.

That strong Hattie had done everything that considered everyone, but had forgotten to consider herself.

It was because of this that he liked her even more, and he even went so far as to give up his family business for her.
