Since Hattie's miscarriage, Greyson had completely locked her at home and forbid her to contact with anyone outside of the house, nor go out herself. She had no way to escape until Finnley’s bodyguard came to help her out.
Finally, she saw Finnley in the car.
"How is going with the poison in your body?" Finnley asked her expressionlessly.
Hattie clenched her fingers and asked, "When will you arrange for me to leave here?"
Finnley said coldly, "You don't have to leave anymore. Anyway, if you leave, Greyson will try his best to get you back. Instead of repeating endlessly like this, it's better to be straightforward and let him completely give up on you."
Hattie felt heartbroken suddenly, "How can I make him... give up on me?"
Finnley pulled out a document, threw it on Hattie, and gave an order without emotion, "Sign it."
Hattie looked down and got stunned immediately.
It was a...contract of selling herself to a man.
Ten million! She would sell herself to a man named Jensen for ten million!
Jensen... She knew Jensen. They were from the same university. They even had public classes together. But they lost connection after graduation.
Hattie heard that Jensen went abroad after graduation.
"Hurry up and sign it. Don’t waste time." Finnley urged, "After signing it, I will send you to Jensen immediately. Also, from now on, you have to remember that the man you love is Jensen. Since your first met, Jensen is the only one you love. You have only loved him since you were alumni. Understand?"
Hearing that, Hattie's heart was sore that she could barely breathe.
She understood what Finnley meant. He meant to ask her to pretend that she had never loved Greyson, so that Greyson would give up on her, instead of hating her, so that Greyson would completely no longer care about her anymore.
Thinking of this, Hattie felt that the contract in her hand seemed to be heavier than it should be. She couldn't convince herself to sign her name.
"Hattie, did you forget that you are dying! Do you want Greyson to remember you for a lifetime, and destroy all his happiness because of losing you?"
What Finnley said made Hattie feel so hurt.
The last thing she wanted was to hurt Greyson…
"I will sign it." She gritted her teeth and said with difficulty, "I will sign it."
