"Trust? Affections?" Emily chuckled, "Franklin, don't you think what you're saying is ridiculous? When did we ever love each other? Do you forget how our relationship started? It was a mistake from the beginning. We should have gone separate ways."
"Good. Great. You finally said what you are thinking." Franklin sneered.
But he felt as if his heart had been pierced by a sharp sword, and he was overwhelmed with sorrow. He tried his best to be with her, but what he did meant nothing to her. From the beginning, she had never trusted him. From the beginning, she was pessimistic about this relationship. He was a huge mistake to her.
"What are you doing?" Emily shouted in shock.
They were already outside of the house, but Franklin picked her up and carried her out of the car after the car stopped.
Of course, Emily struggled. She was not a child, and she was not hurt. How could she let him carry her?
But the more she struggled, the more Franklin refused to let her go.
However, she was still an adult. Although she was not heavy, she could exert much strength when she struggled, which would bring the man much trouble. It was just a show that men on TV series could easily carry women and walk steadily when those women were struggling too hard.
Even if Franklin was so strong, his arms became weak and he lost strength because of her struggle. Finally, he had to let go and put Emily down.
The minute Emily was finally free, she ran away, but she didn't expect Franklin to be faster than her.
This time, instead of picking her up, he suddenly held her waist, lifted her up, put her on his shoulder, and then walked forward.
Emily was dumbfounded and forgot to struggle.
When she came to her senses, she patted and hit Franklin on the back and shouted, "Put me down, Franklin. Let me go."
But Franklin didn't say a word, seeming to be determined to carry her in.
Emily was made to shake as Franklin walked. She felt her stomach resting on Franklin's shoulder which made her so uncomfortable that she was about to vomit.
Fortunately, Franklin finally went into the bedroom upstairs.
Before she vomited, he threw her on the bed and pressed her down.
"Franklin, what are you doing? Go away. I don't want to see you." Emily had an upset stomach. Now that she was pressed against him, she felt like she couldn't breathe.
However, Franklin did not walk away as she wanted. Instead, he kept pressing her down and said gloomily, "Emily, do you know how much I hate you?"
Emily was stunned, then her eyes turned red with a grievance. She gritted her teeth and said, "What right do you have to hate me? If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have suffered so much now, and I wouldn't have lost Bryce."
"Well, if you hate me for causing you to have lost your child, I'll give you another one. Emily, whether we can find Bryce or not, we'll start over and give birth to our child." Franklin said in a grave tone.
Emily was stunned, then struggled frantically and shouted, "No, I won't have another child. I only want Bryce. I only want my Bryce."
But all her struggles and screams were seen as the grief of losing her son by Franklin. He didn't know what to do to make her forget the pain now and how to keep her with him.
Maybe they could have another child; maybe they could start over when they had another child.
