Dante and Venus looked to their right to see Knox and Sophia standing hand in hand, grinning at the both of them widely.

"Truce?" Sophia asked.

Dante looked down at his little mate, who was still safely secured in his arms, the gentle smile on her aglow face told him what to say next.

"I believe so," he said, a smile in his voice.

Sophia squealed in excitement and Knox smiled widely.

The next day everyone was getting ready, there was a pack dinner that night.

Everything was set in the vast green gardens, the decor was stunning yet very simple. James as usual was doing the girls makeup, while he himself looked stunning with his dramatic rainbow eye look. Wearing a black onesie with killer heels, James sure knew how to come dressed for the occasion.

Sophia was in a soft purple coloured dress that was fitted and reached her knees, and a gold belt around her waist. Paired with nude stilettos and soft makeup. Her hair in a bun.

Venus had not seen Dante the entire day, he had been out training and then had to go to the neighbouring pack for some business.

Around 6 she walked out the house to see everything set up, smiling she started walking around, making sure everything was okay with her hands clasped behind her back.

While she was busy instructing some pack members about the lighting Dante had silently come and had stood behind her.

She turned around and bumped into a hard chest, she gasped when two large hands wrapped around her waist to steady her, the warm sizzled of electricity that ran through her told her exactly who it was.

Smiling she looked up to meet stunning coloured eyes, his rich cologne encompassing her.

"What were you up to, luna," Dante asked, his voice husky and deep.

Venus swallowed, clutching onto his thick arms because her legs were turning into jello.

"Just helping here and there, Alpha," venus dared tease back, and upon her words his body stiffened and his eyes darkened with lust.

"Is that so?" He growled out, crushing her body go his.

"I-," venus got cut by someone clearing their throat.

They turned around to see the pack doctor smiling at them with a knowing look.

"Alpha," the doctor said, standing at 6 feet with salt and pepper hair, hard features and a soft warm smile, he looked nothing his age that was of 50 years.

"Sebastian," Dante said, nodding his head.

With that they both left to talk somewhere in private.

Soon the garden was packed with a few hundred people, everyone was laughing and chatting around, enjoying themselves.

While Venus was talking and playing around with some of the pups a voice called out her name.

She turned around to see none other than Dean, looking very handsome.

She smiled back at him gently.

"Hey," he started, moving closer to her.

"Hi," she said.

"So i just wanted to apologise for the other day, i didn't know about you being mated to the alpha, like i would never disrespect him or you that way," he finished.

Venus shook her head smiling.

"Its okay, it was a genuine mistake, its all forgotten so don't worry about all that, anyways i hope you're enjoying yourself," venus said.

"Well thats a relief i must say, and yes I'm thoroughly enjoying myself, so tell me, how are you doing?" Dean asked.

"Thats good, and I'm doing great thank you, what about you?"

"Yeah I'm doing good too,"

"Hey i was wondering if y-," Dean got cut off when a few pups bumped into him, making him fall straight towards Venus.

They both bumped into each other and then fell onto the grass.
