Chapter 25 Sulie's Move

I

Sulie still stood up and approached King Timodore with his head up high. She sweetly smiled at King Timodore and said in her most seductive tone of voice, “My King Timodore, may I request for your presence for a little while?”

King Timodore was actually surprised to see Sulie waiting nearby the Palace’s main door. “What is the purpose for that request Sulie?” he asked while looking at her emotionless.

Queen Asalea, kept her silence while waiting for Sulie to reply to King Timodore’s question.

“I need to clarify something King Timodore but I don’t need someone else’s presence while I discuss it with you,” Sulie replied after giving Queen Asalea a quick, sharp glance.

King Timodore keenly looked at Sulie. He does not like her obvious ways of trying to piss off Queen Asalea. He really needs to talk to her.

“Wait for me at the living room then Sulie.” King Timodore’s instruction to the woman. Thereafter, he held Queen Asalea’s right hand.

Before they could walk away, however, Sulie huskily said, “My King Timodore, I would love to meet you at the balcony; that place is memorable to me since that was the place where I had your first kiss.”

Queen Asalea who was about to step ahead suddenly stopped, upon hearing Sulie’s words. She looked at the King inquisitively. “Should I just wait for you in our bedroom my love?” she asked softly.

“No, I will just return to meet Sulie.” Then King Timodore without looking at Sulie, took Queen Asalea’s hand and turned his back, guiding the latter going to their room.

“Queen, I need to talk to Sulie for a minute, I hope you won’t mind. Stay here; I will be back soon.” He said to Queen Asalea, who nodded in reply.

“My King, I have so much trust in you. Please go ahead and talk to Sulie.” Queen Asalea replied then gave her husband a quick kiss on his lips.

“Be ready, I don’t want for just a quick kiss.” King Timodore murmured at his wife before finally leaving their bedroom.
