It was Liliana, her dress barely covering her, covered in blood. Her screams were trapped in her throat, unable to escape. Blake, sensing something. stillly looked up to see a tall, blood–soaked figure approaching, eyes dark and lifeless, like a relentless killing machine. 

It was Alfred. He thought. How did he become like this?” 

Lea felt a sudden weight at her feet–Liliana had grabbed her. “Help me! Help me.” Liliana clung to her like a lifeline, desperately trying to crawl away, wanting to escape from the scene. 

Lea suddenly lifted and dragged her inside, then forcefully shut the door and locked it. 

“Mr. Andrews!” Liliana, who had been thrown to the ground again, clung to Blake, trying to get up “You need to get me out of here. Alfred has gone mad 

ing her unconscious. 

Lea picked up a bedside lamp and struck her on the back of the head, knocking 

Blake was speechless; he could no longer concern himself with anything else and turned to Alfred. “Alfred, you…..” 

With his bloodshot eyes fixed on him, Alfred was about to advance. Lea rushed forward, embracing him tightly. Looking up at him, her voice hoarse, she pleaded. “Alfred, it’s me, Lea. Look at me—” 

Blake had already taken out his phone and dialed a number. The Andrews family’s doctor, Isaac Woods, arrived within five minutes. 

Pablo and his trusted subordinates surrounded the area tightly; even Lorenzo, who held an important public position, could not enter. Alfred, leaning against Lea. Even Blake could not get close. 

“Mr. Andrews?” Isaac said as he approached. Alfred immediately kicked him away. 

Imac was speechless; Alfred still tried to lunge forward to attack. 

“Calm down,” Lea said, soothing him as she gently patted his head. It took a few moments, but eventually, she calmed him down, and he leaned against her. 

Blake fell silent, and everyone was stunned. In the end, Lea was the one to soothe him, personally administering a sedative and anesthetic. Only then did Alfred finally fall into a deep sleep in her arms, 

Blake told Pablo, Take Mr. Andrews and Miss Manning to the hospital 

“Yes.” Pablo approached Lea and said, “Miss Berry.” 

She lifted her gaze to the people around, looking at the stern–faced Blake with a severe tone. “Where is Craig?” 

Craig, one of Alfred’s trusted aides, had no restrictions on his presence. After signaling to those around him, he was soon called inside. Seeing Alfred unconscious in Lea’s arms, he sighed in relief 

“Give him to me, Craig said, stepping forward to assist. 

Lea looked at Alfred in her arms with reluctance, her heart aching as she allowed Craig to take him Pablo stepped in to help, carefully moving Alfred onto a gurney. Only then did she rise, her legs numb and painful, and she nearly stumbled, almost falling 

She paid no attention to her condition, walking step by step to stand before Blake. Her hands and face were scared with Alfred’s blood. Despite her evident weakness and dishevelment, she exuded an unmatched intensity. Standing before Blake, she declared, “If anything happens to Alfred, I will see your entire Andrews Group buried with him.” 

Lea had previously respected him as an elder and Alfred’s close relative, holding him in high regard. But after tonight, she had utterly seen through 

him. 

For the sake of benefits, Blake could force Alfred to be with a woman he didn’t love and expose it publicly in such a manner, even resorting to dirty tactics like drugging. In his eyes, there were only benefits, and everyone was expendable, merely pawns in his game–whether it was Alfred, Milton, or the rest of the Andrews family. 

In the past, she had felt pity for her background. But now, seeing Alfred treated and exploited by those he loved and trusted most, her heart ached. so intensely that she felt a strong urge to lash out at Blake 

Blake turned his face away angrily, wincing from the minor cuts left on his neck by her hold. He thought, ‘What is there that she won’t dare to do? Pablo and the others felt an inexplicable chill, realizing they had been threatened. After Lea made her statement, she turned and left the room Outside, Blake’s bodyguards cleared a path for her.
