Her Second Marriage, Being Mr. Moore's New Wife novel Chapter 432

Did he want to make amends?

Yanis took a look at him. Seeing that there was regret in his eyes, she found that he was sincere about his apology.

What he said was reasonable. They were on opposite, so what they said might be unpleasant to hear.

However, Yanis still felt what he said went too far.

So she didn't speak.

Nathan was afraid that she went away directly out of anger, so he could only lowered his gesture and softly begged her.

"I apologize. Will you get in the car?"

Yanis, “......"

If she was still angry, wound it make her look petty?

Never mind, they were not the same kind of people. At this, Yanis walked to his car. It was not until then Nathan took a sigh of relief and unconsciously gave a smile.

In the hospital

It was so quiet that only the instrument issued noise. Kennedy like a sculpture sat on the edge of the bed motionlessly and his eyes fixed on the face of Alice.

Suddenly, the eyelash of Alice moved, as if she was to wake up.

Kennedy was excited because her eyelash moved slightly, and he sat straight at once.

Alice was in coma for a long time, so when she was to open eyes, she felt it hard because of the dazzling light. As she was to adapt to the dark, the indoor light was turned off, replaced by a dim lamp, which was far away.

She opened her eyes with relief.

What greeted her eyes was a tall, thin figure.

“Are you up?”

The cold male voice spread from the top of her head. Alice clearly saw Kennedy’s handsome face, his thin cold lips which spat out cold words.

She moved her lips, trying to say something, but found that she had no strength left in her body.

The next moment, a pair of great hands caught her and lifted her up. Then he placed two pillows on her back so that she could sit there.

"Have a glass of water." Kennedy held a glass of water to her lips and gestured for her to drink.

Alice looked at his hand with distinct joints, resisted, shaking her head, and did not want to drink.

Kennedy sneered, “What? You have no strength now. Do you still want to carry your own water?"

Alice did not speak. Though her lips were pale, she stubbornly maintained her gesture.

Kennedy was angered by that, but he had no temper.

After a while, he whispered, "In five years, I thought your temper would change, but I never expected you to be as stubborn as before. Will your stubbornness bring you good fruits?"

"......" Alice raised her eyes and glanced at him.

He held the glass to her lips as if on purpose.

"Will you drink it?"

After thinking, Alice drank a mouthful of it for she had no strength. Since she wanted to take care of her, let him be.
