Then, Liam picked up his phone and dialed a number, "Please bring me something to eat now."
"Yes, right now!"
"I don't care. You only have 30 minutes." As he spoke, Liam hung up the phone.
Abigail knew who he was talking to straightaway. She couldn't help but say, "It's too late now. Stop torturing your assistant."
"Today, I didn't go to work, so he had rested the whole day. Why can't I order him?" Liam said.
Abigail tended to avoid arguing with him, as Liam always had many reasons. She just nodded and didn't say anything.
Half an hour later, someone knocked on the door.
"Come in!"
With a creak, the door was slowly pushed open.
Dan slowly walked in.
"Mr. Jones!" He greeted him, but when she saw that Abigail was also there, he immediately greeted her awkwardly, "Miss Swift!"
Fortunately, he knocked on the door. Or if he spoiled their moods, Liam might fire him.
Abigail sat there and nodded at Dan. In fact, she also felt embarrassed. She thought she shouldn't be in the same ward with Liam!
"Where's the stuff?" Liam asked flatly and didn't feel anything wrong.
"They are still outside. It's out of the visiting hours. I sneaked in!" Dan said.
Abigail remained silent.
"Get them in!" Liam said.
Then, Dan nodded, walked to the door, waved, and let some people come in.
When Abigail saw this, she was astonished.
She finally understood why Ted did that!
They were friends indeed!
