Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 555

Through Felix's question, Stella found that all people and all things needed time. Grandpa lived to be more than ninety years old. His roots of thinking were deeper than anyone else's, and it was the hardest thing to change the direction of his roots.

"Grandpa, I know your ideas are deeply rooted, and I'm not asking you to change them all at once. After all, Winnie did nothing wrong, we can't always make a hard time for her."

"If you can accept Winnie, that's the perfect ending. No child wants to live without their parents. And which couple can suffer the torment of being apart?"

Stella did not dare it in a domineering way, so that her grandpa would not resist. Stella tactfully gave her opinion.

"Grandpa, it's ok not to accept her, but we must think of a way to make her feel better. Even if it's for the good of the company and she works harder for the company, we shouldn't go too far."

Stella looked at her grandpa with expectation, hoping that grandpa could change his mind and everyone could see hope.

Felix spoke after a moment of thinking.

"The bottom line for me is that she goes home with the kids, continues to work and takes care of the kids. I can turn a blind eye to her relationship with Brian."

With that, he got up and picked up his crutch.

"Stella, I am tired, I need to go back for some sleep."

As his words fell, Felix went to his room slowly.

Stella did not ask him to stay, because she knew that her grandpa had begun to resist this topic, but her grandpa’s answer had been a concession.

With such a promise from her grandfather, even if Winnie really felt the suburbs one day, her grandfather would not make it difficult for her.

Brian’s business trip was a few days longer than expected. He left on the day Winnie got injured, now Winnie had recovered and could go to work, but heh had not yet come back from business trip.

It was weekend, as the last time, Winnie went back to her home to stay with Vanessa, as well as the two kids. Rufus felt lonely every time they went back home.

At this moment, he missed most Isobel.

He stood by the window of his room, watching the drizzle outside, depressed.

If he did not escape and did not fear the threat of his father but was brave to solve everything, he thought it would not end up like this.

He should be inn trip with Isobel now. Brian and Winnie should live happily together.

But the gap between the ideal and reality was big, and this gap was caused by him.

Looking at the rainy weather, he remembered that he and Isobel broke up in the rainy day. Rufus made a call to Isobel at this hour.

Isobel answered his phone, as she promised, afraid that Rufus had someone to follow her.

“Yes?”

Isobel said in a soft tone. Almost every time she picked up the phone of Rufus, she would say the same sentence. She thought he was to talk about Brian and Winnie, other than that, they had nothing to talk about.

"Are you still in H Country?"

Rufus asked. He had been used to Isobel’s opening sentence and if he said nothing, their conversation would be over.

"Yes, I want to spend more days here."

Isobel answered indifferently.

"Vanessa is not here with me, I become so idle. I'm bored by being alone, so can I travel with you?"

Rufus asked but he did not know if Isobel would say yes.

"I don't mind you travelling, but you'd better find your own tour group. If it is found out that we travel together, everything will be known. And we are not suitable to travel together."

Isobel refused. She did not dare to take a risk and dare not be with Rufus. Let alone travel, standing together would be enough to make her feel guilty to many people.

"Isobel......"

He called Isobel’s name, but did not continue his words. He took a deep breath before he spoke.

"Isobel, can you give me another chance? Give me a chance to redeem everything I owe you. Give me a chance to make clear of the chaos in everyone's lives. I want to settle everything and be with you.”

Rufus said similar words several times, although Isobel refused, he did not give up.

"We should bear the consequence of our own mistakes. and I know I'm not being responsible. But the sooner we are found out, the sooner we are dead. The kids will forgive us only if we are dead."

Isobel still refused, but not direct as before.

She was not afraid of death, and if death would solve the problem, she would trade her life now for peace. But she didn't want Rufus to die, she wanted Rufus to live well.

Rufus’s life was in a complete mess because of her. Her wife died and he had been living alone for years.

All this should be borne by her, but she really wanted the peaceful life last longer and did not want to change the life because of her.
