Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 567

Rufus felt he could not control his anger. He had to say what he wanted to say, or he would have a argument with his father just as he had done twenty years ago.

"Rufus, you know what I mean. I'm not saying that Brian's management was not good. I found a suitable person for him, to be prepared in advance, so that his in-laws could support him in case of accidents.”

Felix became angry first.

Now he did not want to hear anything about Winnie, did not want to hear other people's words of persuasion. It was not that he was unable to cope with it, but afraid of being shaken.

"Dad, you think too much. Your ideas are out of date. If something really happens to the Bennet Group, his father-in-law would run the fastest and may kick on Brian in the back."

"You know why I say that? Because it is a marriage of interest, they are all mercenary. If he sees that the Bennet Group is going down, he will save himself first. Who do you think is going to save the Bennet Group selflessly?"

Rufus tried his best to persuade his father. As for what happened today, he did not want it happen again. He did not want the kids and Winnie to be sad.

Felix was speechless, panting, he sat on the sofa with an angry face and looked away.

It was possible. He did it for the benefit, and the other side must do it for the benefit. He just could not sacrifice the safety of the Bennet Group for the unknown.

“And, since you want to find a rich girl, you do not trust Brian. You don't trust him he can manage the Bennet Group, and you don't trust his ability to handle things when they go wrong."

Rufus continued seeing that his father was speechless.

"You said you were doing it for the Bennet family. Dad, you've had arranged marriages for me, but is the Bennet family good? Does the Bennet family have a good relationship? They are all people who put the interests first, who will put the family in the eye?"

"Dad, it can be good when a family has a good relationship. There's no way a business can thrive if you don't know how to handle the family affairs. Even if you win, even if the Bennet Group is on top of the world, do you feel happy if the family is in a mess?"

Rufus asked his father. The Bennet family was good in the eyes of outsiders, but who saw the inside of it? Which one of the Bennet family is happy?

"Don't push Brian any more. Do you want Brian to become a second me?"

Rufus had endured this sentence for many years, and wanted to keep it in his stomach all his life, but his father would never realize that what he had done was wrong and selfish.

Hearing that, Felix raised his deep eyes.

"Are you blaming me for forcing you to get married?"

Felix asked Rufus in a cold voice.

Seeing that his father was angry, Rufus hesitated, not because he was afraid of him, but because he could not accept the reality. But having said that, there was no turning back.

"Yes, I blame you. I wouldn't be the man I am now if you hadn't forced me into marriage. I wouldn't have been alone all these years if you didn't control my life. I have been lonely and helpless since I got married."

Rufus had expressed his depression today, which had been in his heart for nearly forty years. His whole life was bitter, only because of his father's selfishness.

"You blame me? I did that for you and the Bennet Group. Would the Bennet Group have grown so fast if you hadn't married?"

Felix slowed down his speech and showed a hurtful look. He didn't do that for himself, but for everyone in the Bennet family. Why they were blaming him now?

"Do you think I am good? Have you ever wondered if I had a nice family and nothing to worry about, I could make the Bennet Group better? I married with Brian's mother. What help did I get from her family? It was me who indulged them.”

Now that he had mentioned what had happened, he had to let his father know it. Even though his father still didn't realize he was wrong, he wanted to say what he hadn't said.

“Brian's uncle and aunt are abroad, and they are still alive. Ask them what they have done for me. When I was in trouble, was there one person who stepped up to help me? It was me alone solved the problem."

Speaking of that, Rufus was upset. He was filial, if not for the respect to his father, not for fear that his father would destroy his marriage, he would not conceal it.

His marriage was not what he wanted, but when he had kids, he let it go for the sake of his kids. However, he could not tell his father the fact that his wife’s family had not helped him, or he would get divorced, and then his father would find him a richer father-in-law. In that way, two kids would be ruined.

"They didn't help?"

Felix asked unexpectedly. As far as he knew, it was Brian's grandfather who helped the Bennet Group when Rufus was in trouble. But Rufus was not a liar. What went wrong and whose fault was it?

"No, not once. I resolved the problem by my own."
