Hey, My Twins Babies novel Chapter 747

Although Winnie turned her head, she still accepted that bunch of roses.

She knew what the rose meant, but she did not believe that Brian was sincere. In this case, even if she accepted, it would not change Brian's mind.

"Sit down. I've already ordered. We'll talk while we wait."

What Winnie said was not important, as long as she accepted the bouquet of flowers, Brian was elated.

Winnie put the flowers carefully aside and then sat down.

"Mr. Bennet, there's something I wish I can make it clear, so as not to interfere with our life."

Winnie reminded him and she did not want to see him again.

No matter what Brian did, she would not change her steadfast heart. Even if he realized what he had done wrong, even if he apologized for what he had done, Winnie would not forgive him.

In the eyes of Brian, she was only a nanny to take care of the kids, and in the eyes of Felix, she was only a mistress.

Why did she have to live without dignity, why did she want to live according to the thought of the Bennet family?

"I... Can you talk about Wendy?"

Brian didn't know where to start and could only say that.

"I can't seem to interfere in what's going on with Wendy, and it's not a problem between us. Sorry, I don't want to hear or talk about her."

Winnie refused, because she felt distressed when she heard the name of Wendy.

"Ok, we don’t talk about Wendy."

Brian did not go on, afraid Winnie would get up and leave.

He changed the subject.

"Winwin, can you tell me about your parents and what happened in your family?"

Brian wanted to know the past and see if he could help. Also he wanted to thoroughly understand Winnie's pain and everything she had endured.

It was not easy to hear this from Brian. Winnie felt sad and then showed a mocking smile.

"Why do you ask now? Why didn't you ask before? You don't have to care about that. It's not your business."

She had been waiting for him to ask her something about it, and now he did, but it was at the wrong time, and it was meaningless. Brian had missed the best time to care about her, so he missed everything between them.

Now that it was all gone, she didn't want to give any answers.

"Winwin, I didn't care enough about you before. I've been afraid of the pain in your heart, so I did not ask. Now I want to know everything about you, and I want to solve your problem."

Brian knew that it was late to ask and that he did not care enough about Winnie. He had tried twice before, but he had been sidetracked by trifles.

Now he wanted to start again with Winnie, he wanted to love her more seriously, to understand her, to help her, and he hoped Winnie could give him the opportunity.

"The past is the past. You didn't want to know anything about me, and now you don't have to ask. There were a lot of things that needed help before, and there are a lot of things needed help now. But I won't bother you. I can handle it myself."

Winnie rejected him. He didn't take her seriously when she needed him, so what could he do now?

"I'll go if you have nothing else to say, Mr. Bennet."

Winnie said and then got up.

“Winwin...”

Brian got up quickly.

"Mr. Bennet, I don't think you have much to say about us. This is the last time. From now on, we'll each have our life. I'll solve my problems by myself, so you don't have to worry about it."

Winnie said and strode away directly. She did not take away the bouquet of flowers and had not eaten the dinner.

Winnie walked out of the restaurant in tears.

If Brian had said that before, she would have believed it and been happy whether it was true or not. But now she couldn't believe it.

He'd been looking for an opportunity to apologize, to explain. But didn't he see that the apology wasn't genuine? He did not know the reason why she suffered?

Her heart had been hurt by him, and now he came to care about her past, which made her feel ridiculous. Was she a beggar waiting for his mercy?

The next morning.

Rufus had breakfast and went to the old house, and Felix could guess why he came.

In the living room, they were chatting over a cup of tea.

"Why isn't Thomas at home?"
