His Beloved Mate novel Chapter 48

Cassie reached out her hand under her nose and touched it. Then she saw the blood.

Shit! She really had a nosebleed!

Seeing her like this, Dylan frowned.

Cassie pushed Dylan away and explained incoherently, "I... I am not. Don't get me wrong!"

What's the meaning? Should he thought she was playing cat and mouse?

Seeing her like this, Dylan smiled cunningly and said, "Mrs. Dylan, if you are really interested in it, I can give you a chance to get close to it."

She has told him that it's not because she saw his abdominal muscles bleeding. But why does she feel that the more she explain, the more confused she become?!

Cassie suddenly felt a little uncomfortable, and nosebleed was still flowing. She took out the paper towel from the tea table with a sad face and kept wiping it.

Belle cooked the noodles and sent it into the room. "Cassie, I'm done."

Dylan walked to her and sat down next to her. Without a word, he took off the rubber band from her hair, tied her fingers and ordered, "Raise your head."

Knowing what he meant, Cassie raised her head obediently.

Belle looked at the situation in the room and was confused. She asked with concern, "What's wrong with you, Cassie?"

Cassie scratched her back and said, "It's okay. Maybe it's because the weather is too dry recently."

When Dylan was done, there were already a lot of tissues with blood in the trash can. He stared at her face under the light for a long time and finally found something wrong.

"Are you allergic?"

Cassie shook his head, "What allergy? I'm healthy!"

With a darkened face, Dylan pushed her into the bathroom. Leaning against the door frame, Dylan sighed, "Look."

Cassie was startled by herself in the mirror, and a red rash appeared on her face.

"Ah!"

Cassie put on a long face and said, "I'm screwed. I'm going to die. The peerless beauty has been disfigured!"

Seeing how excited she was, Dylan calmly told Belle, "Belle, call Leon and tell him to come here."

Belle nodded, "Yes."

Belle put the cooked noodles on the tea table and said, "Remember to eat it."

Dylan pulled Cassie outside, "Don't cry. The more you cry, the uglier you will be."

With tears in her eyes, Cassie looked at him and asked, "Am I ugly now?"

Dylan's tone softened a little. He looked at her and took some tissue to wipe her tears. "It's not ugly if you don't cry."

Cassie stopped crying, "Then... Then I won't cry."

She was so beautiful that she couldn't die!

After thinking for a while, Dylan asked, "Did you eat something you shouldn't eat?"

After thinking for a while, Cassie came to her senses. Holding back her laughter, she looked at Dylan and said, "Maybe it's the mango I ate at Mrs. Carla's house..."

"... You are three years old? Are you allergic to mangoes?"

The tenderness was just an illusion, and Cassie rolled her eyes in the bottom of her heart. She pursed her lips and retorted, "I was not allergic to mangoes before! How did I know I was allergic all of a sudden?"

Dylan didn't say anything.

There was a rash on her face and it was itchy. "My face is itchy." she complained, looking at Dylan with tears in her eyes.

Dylan asked Carter to bring ice water for them. He soaked the towel in ice water for a long time before it was wrung dry. Then he picked it up and applied it on Cassie's face.

Cassie took a deep breath subconsciously, and her eyes were suddenly attracted. Dylan's hands were beautiful, with distinct and slender bones.
