In Aryadelle, Avery said goodbye to Robert and Layla after dinner.

"It's late, Mommy, so be careful on your way back. Robert and I will visit you once I'm done with my summer assignments," Layla whispered into Avery’s ear.

"Sure. You can also bring your assignments to my place, and we can work on them together." Avery didn't want to part with her children.

"I will see you once I'm done with them so that we can go and play!" Layla had a plan, but she was keeping it a secret for the time being. She planned on taking Robert to Avery so that Avery could take them to Bridgedale and they could all celebrate Hayden's birthday together.

Avery got into her car and was about to leave when Elliot came out of the house.

The men were about to start drinking, so Avery had only said goodbye to the children but not Elliot.
