Silence fell over the room.

Lilith had not expected Ben to tell everyone about Elliot.

The others were not aware of her identity and thought that she was fully dependent on her boyfriend's connections for work. If they found out that she was Elliot's sister, would they think that she was relying on Elliot's status even when that was not the truth? She had never relied on Ben or Elliot.
