His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 1974

In Elliot's mansion, a few cars were parked outside the yard.

Once Avery got out of her car, Tammy and Shea stepped out of the house.

Avery's lips curled into a smile at the sight of them.

She had been in a horrible mood the past few days and did not want to see anyone else, so the two had not visited.

Sometimes, one's friends might know one better than their lovers.

"Avery, did you go see your mom?" Tammy approached her and beamed. "I heard that Wanda is dead. That's great news."

"Yeah. When did you arrive? Why didn't you tell me?" Avery took Tammy's hand in one of hers, and Shea's hand in the other and strolled back into the house.

"Mike told us that Wanda is dead in the chat group so I thought you must be in a better mood now, so I asked Shea out to come and see you together." Tammy pulled Avery to the couch to take their seats.

Mrs. Cooper immediately came over with a bowl of soup and handed it to Avery." Lunch will be ready shortly."

"Do you two want soup? Mrs. Cooper makes the best soup..." Avery asked them while holding the bowl.

"Yeah. I believe that he is still alive as well. I won't ever stop looking for him," Avery said as she suppressed the sorrow she felt. "Let's talk about something else!"

"My Tiffany is now the boss in her school and all the boys are scared of her," Tammy said. "It's only been a week since she started school and she has already brought three boys to tears by beating them. I was kind of worried that she would be bullied at school, but I guess I was overthinking it."

"Why did she beat the boys?" Avery asked.

"One of the boys was trying to sneak a peek at the girls in the bathroom; another refused to wash his hands after a meal and wiped them off someone else’s clothes; and the last removed his pants during a nap and Tiffany found it appalling..." Tammy could not help but chuckle. "I did tell her not to beat people up, but when she reasoned with them and they had refused to listen, she resorted to beating them." "She's so much like you."
