His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 2931

"How can you not know anything about her? Why did you sleep with her?" Elliot asked.

Hayden took a deep breath. "She was a waitress at the hotel."

Elliot, Avery, Layla, Robert, and Ivy were all rendered speechless.

Hayden ignored them and walked toward the dining room as he felt famished and exhausted.

Layla was the first to snap out of it and hurried after him.

Soon, Elliot and Avery recovered from their initial shock as well and exchanged knowing looks.

"What do you think?" Elliot asked.

"I don't know. It's all a little surreal," Avery said.

"You think so, too? I thought I was the only one who finds this ridiculous! How can our brilliant son fall for a waitress?"

"They aren't dating, right? They aren't even in contact."

"Even if it was just a one-night stand, why would he find himself a waitress?"

"Why would you care about the woman's profession or status if it's a one-night stand? Forget it. It's already happened, so just accept it!"

"He went to look for the mother. What is he planning to do? Is he going to compensate her or marry her?" Elliot could accept having another addition to his family, but he was having a hard time accepting a waitress as his daughter-in-law.

He considered himself open-minded and did not expect his sons to marry women of high status, but it seemed odd for Hayden to marry a waitress.

Hayden felt conflicted when he saw his parents going upstairs with the baby, knowing everyone in his family had started believing that the baby was his.

"Hayden, you should start making arrangements! You can't just leave your kid. Our parents can help take care of the baby, but a child needs a father. Have you forgotten about our childhood?" Layla deadpanned. "Can't you move your company to Aryadelle? At least build a branch here and work here instead."

"I am not trying to run from my responsibility," Hayden said.

He remembered the hardship he had gone through as a child and was open to considering shifting to Aryadelle if the child turned out to be his.

"Good. As for the mother of the baby... what's your thought on it?" Layla continued. "Honestly, I don't want you to marry a waitress."

"She isn't like what you think."
