His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 2962

Shelly immediately locked her phone and smiled at Courtney. "I don't have Mr. Tate's number, so you should use your phone! You just bought it right? The camera is better than mine."

"You can take my number down now, then!" Hayden said before unlocking his own phone to give her his number.

Shelly could not believe what she was hearing and stared at the screen.

"Shelly, hurry up! I'll take his number if you don't!" Courtney urged.

Shelly hummed and hurried over to her desk. "I'm a little thirsty. Let me take a sip of water first."

She fumbled for a glass as she unlocked her phone to navigate to the contact list. Thankfully, she only had the photo of the twins on her locked screen and not anywhere else.

She took a sip of water and returned to take Hayden's number down.

"Mr. Tate, can I have your number as well? Don't worry. I won't bother you. I just want your number in my contact list so I will be more inspired to work hard when I look at your number!" said Courtney.

Moved by her sincerity, he nodded in agreement.

After Courtney successfully added Hayden's number, she continued to persuade him into accepting the cakes. "Mr. Tate, it's okay if you don't eat them. You can give them to your assistant or secretary. The cakes in our shop are not bad; not as terrible as you might think, at least," Courtney said enthusiastically.

"My mom forced me to eat them once," Hayden said.

Hayden did not really want to use the word 'forced,' but it was the truth, as Avery wanted him to acknowledge that the cakes in Shelly's cafe were not as bad as he might think.

"Huh? Hahaha! Is your mom that forceful?" Courtney had the impression that Avery was gentle, intellectual, and dignified, so she had not expected Avery to force her son to eat cakes
