His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 3056

Shelly's furrowed brows eased at her mother's words, and she turned to Hayden. "Hayden, do you want to take a shower now?"

Hayden was crouching next to the couch. He was playing with Audrey. He immediately got up to shower when he heard Shelly's question.

Once Hayden walked away, Mrs. Taylor immediately grabbed Shelly's arm with a smile. "Did you and Hayden... get intimate?"

"No, Mom." Shelly blushed. "We did get closer after this team-building event. He said he needs a wife and I'm willing to marry him, so I think we are probably going to get married."

Tears welled in Mrs. Taylor's eyes. "Shelly, you've made us proud! I've never thought you would marry such a great man! If word of this gets out, you will be the pride of our entire town!"

Shelly fell silent.

She had never thought about becoming the pride of the entire town and only ever wanted to live a good life for herself.

"Mom, please don't spread the news about me and Hayden. Let's wait until we're actually married to say anything! Anything can happen," Shelly whispered.

Mrs. Taylor looked at the gifts Hayden brought and felt both satisfied and moved. "I can see that Hayden genuinely wants to spend his life with you. It's mainly because you've sacrificed a lot to give birth to two children for him. We should also thank his family, especially his mother. If it weren't for her treating you so well, even if Hayden liked you, you might not have ended up together."

"Mom, I know. Aunty Avery is truly a wonderful person. I'm willing to marry Hayden not only because I love him and want to give our children a complete family but also because I genuinely like his family. I like each member of his family," Shelly said just as Hayden came out to retrieve his luggage.

Shelly's face turned red when she saw Hayden.

Judging from Hayden's expression, he must have heard what she just said.

"What are you looking for?" She quickly walked towards him.
