His Eagle Eyes on Me novel Chapter 3095

"Keep an eye on her when she comes to work tomorrow," Lucas said.

"Shouldn't you do it? She came asking for you the moment she set foot into the office. She is clearly here for you."

Lucas fell silent.

"Hang on! You just told me you thought you recognized her. Maybe that's true! Why else would she come all the way here?"

"I shouldn't have recognized her. I've never been to Aryadelle," Lucas said.

"But she mentioned that she lived in Taronia for a period of time, right? She must have come across you then. Think carefully. Have you seduced some innocent girl in the past?"

"That's not possible," Lucas said. "I didn't know any women other than my mom."

"Then she was probably enticed by your looks and has been in love with you since then...." Caspian said.

"Sod off."

"In any case, I'll ask her to be your assistant if she shows up tomorrow. She is pretty, educated, and was a TV presenter before, so she should be able to handle the job. If you marry her, your mom will surely be thrilled."

Lucas grabbed a folder from the table and threw it at him. "Get out!"

At the hotel, Ivy lay on the bed, staring at the ceiling light.

It was the afternoon, and she was not sleepy, hungry, or in the mood to move.

An hour had passed since, she had spoken to her mother, and her mother had still not called her.

"That won't happen unless I marry someone much older. Guys my age have just graduated! How can they be that successful?" Ivy argued.

"There are wealthy second and third-generation heirs," Mike replied. "You should understand where your parents are coming from; they're worried about you enduring hardships. Forgive me for being blunt, but even if Lucas were wealthy, your parents still won't let you live in Taronia. Maybe they will feel better about it if you can convince Lucas to move to Aryadelle for your sake."

"But Taronia is his homeland."

"If he's not willing to sacrifice for you, why should you leave your homeland to accommodate him? Ivy, we can't let him have his way all the time!" Mike said.

"I understand, Uncle Mike. What you're saying makes sense. I will consider it," Ivy responded.

The next morning, Ivy arrived alone at Night Technologies.
