Chapter 70 

When Lauren came out of the laboratory, it was already past 2 o’clock in the afternoon and she was very hungry. Kelly was an excellent assistant, and she immediately brought food. 

Lauren sat in the rest room and Kelly poured a cup of water for her and then sat next to her. Kelly whispered, “Lauren, your grandpa just called, saying that your Aunt Clara is back and she wants to see you as soon as possible.” 

Lauren paused for a while. Jeffery once mentioned Clara to her and said she loved her very much. But Clara was abroad and could not be contacted. So Lauren decided to come back home to see her aunt. 

After finishing lunch, Lauren changed her clothes and then returried to the Bennett family with Kelly The Bennett’s house was near the foot of the mountain, surrounded by a tourist area, but only part of it was open, and the rest was used by the Bennett family 

The Bennett family even built large tourist areas, which include hospitals, resort hotels, and “office areas. Hospitals and hotels were open to the public but the ‘office area’ was where the Bennett family lived. 

Kelly drove the car and was stopped at the gate. It was Lauren who rolled down the window and then the guard let them go. The leading guard stepped forward and asked, “Will you often drive this car back? If you will, we will register this car and you can pass 

directly.” 

Lauren thought for a while, and said, “Yes, recently I will.” 

“Got it.” The guard nodded. 

Kelly entered the scenic area and then drove to a place close to the house. Lauren got out of the car and slowly walked towards the house. All the way was electronic equipment. 

The Bennett’s house was surrounded by many precious trees. Lauren, who was wearing a pair of light shoes, stepped on the gras and walked slowly, but suddenly a familiar voice came into her ears. She stopped. 

“Why are you so unhappy?” The man’s voice was a little languid. 

“No, I am not,” it was Sally’s voice. 

“Come on,” the man laughed, “We grew up together and I know you so well.” 

The man leaned on the tree. And after a while, he asked, “Is it because of Lauren?” 

“No,” Sally stopped the man.
