She tried to look sincere, but Fred was surprisingly calm. He only nodded to show he understood her, then beckoned, "I know it takes time to develop the invisibility potion, so don't worry about it as long as you continue to work on it."
He held her shoulder and lowered his voice, saying, "I have something more urgent I need you to do. Once done, I'll give you everything and all the time you need for your research."
Rhea looked up at him in surprise. "Is it about the hypnosis?"
Fred nodded and asked solemnly, "Yes, I need it done as soon as possible. Can you do it by tonight?"
Rhea was shocked and not confident. She wondered, 'I only succeeded in hypnotizing Mike because I knew much about his character. I don't even know the prince and have only read about him.’
"Can you do it or not?" Fred tightened his grip on her shoulder, looking sinister.
Rhea said through clenched teeth, "Yes, I can."
She worried Fred would kill her if she said no.
"That's great. I knew I could count on you. I'm beginning to believe you're as good as Lily. No, you're better than her!" He suddenly stopped and frowned when he thought of something.
