At the idea of the villa that she had not yet had the opportunity to live in, Lorraine no longer insisted. So she could only heave a long sigh as she said:
– All right, I’ll respect your choice. Are you happy now?
Chloe nodded with satisfaction:
– Then we won’t move.
On this scene, Clement greatly admired Chloe who could stop her mother by her intelligence. He was really happy to be able to have such a wife.
Seeing that his daughter got angry, Kyan who remained silent was afraid and spoke up to reconcile them:
– What matters is peace in the family, okay?
Lorraine glared at him.
– Well, shut up! Even Clement this bum can win a villa, but you? You only know how to stay together with the garbage! You are real trash to me!
– Oh dear, Kyan got angry to be involved and explained, never despise me, Lorraine! You forget that I made a few tens of thousands with the pills?
Kvan was angry stamping his feet:
– You don’t know anything, bitch! It’s Louis XVI’s crayon-vase! But I bought it with only five hundred euros! I have already sent some photos to Florentin. He’s an expert in antiques and he wants to buy it with thirty thousand!
Clement glanced at the pencil-vase and was very suspicious. A pencil-vase of Louis XVI does indeed cost thirty thousand, but it was quite clear that this one was a fake. It was shaped by modern techniques, and therefore only cost more than a hundred euros. Kyan had been mistaken to have bought it with five hundred euros.
It was reasonable, as Kyan was unfamiliar with antiques; but as an expert, Florentin tried to buy the precious ones with a very low price, and it was impossible for him not to know that it was a fake.
Clément wondered why Florentin wanted to buy it.
