However, the person who was invited did not consider this an honor.
"No, thanks." Margaret rejected straight away.
"Why? Are the benefits not good enough?" Charleston raised his eyebrows.
Did this little one not enter the entertainment industry to become famous?
With all the fortune he had, she would not have to worry about resources at all. He could make Margaret a superstar with just a snap of his fingers.
"It's not about the benefits. I already have a contract with Galaxy Entertainment. I will have to pay 80 million dollars if I were to end the contract, unless Galaxy Entertainment does it first. Besides, Galaxy Entertainment isn't bad either." Margaret answered calmly.
"I'll pay for all that. Also, I did my homework; turns out the name of Galaxy Entertainment's CEO is Zachary. If I remember correctly, that would make him your ex-boyfriend." Charleston said disapprovingly.
80 million dollars was nothing to him.
He just did not want his woman to be under her ex-boyfriend's company.
This immediately upset Margaret. "Who are you to me, anyway? Why should I accept your kindness?" She questioned.
Charleston did not know what to say.
That's right. Who was he to Margaret?
The air seemed to have frozen over. After a long while, Margaret heard Charleston answered, "I will marry you, and you will become Mrs. Limbaugh."
Once Charleston made up his mind about wanting a person, it was for life.
And Charleston wanted Margaret.
He wanted her so, so badly.
When Margaret heard him say this, she was slightly startled. She lifted the corners of her mouth and said, "Mr. Limbaugh, stop joking around."
"Do you think I'm joking?" Charleston said, his voice stern and serious.
