"Cut-" The director nodded with satisfaction.
Margaret got out of character and returned to her actual state. She then tilted her head and asked, "Director, was that okay?"
"Yes, it's perfect!" The director gave her a thumbs-up.
Margaret was born to be in the entertainment industry.
Her acting was lively, and she had great fashion sense.
She had never been professionally trained before and directly went into acting without any experience. However, her understanding of the material and performance were particularly strong.
"Director, Zoey's assistant just said that Zoey is not feeling well and may take a week off," the assistant next to the director spoke up.
Zoey was the female lead for the pilot episode of this show. She was also Suanne's cousin.
She was supposed to join the crew for filming the next day. No one expected that she would take a week off.
This was going to delay the progress of the entire crew.
The look on the director's face turned sour.
He could not do much about this as Zoey joined the crew through her connections. She was Suanne's cousin, which technically made her Mr. Limbaugh's cousin.
When the filming started, Mr. Limbaugh personally said that he did not invest in Demon Hunter because of Zoey.
However, it more or less had something to do with it.
After all, Zoey was Suanne's cousin, and everyone knew that Suanne had been relying on Limbaugh Group' resources for success all these years.
For Mr. Limbaugh to be so attentive to a woman, it was very likely that Suanne was going to be Mrs. Limbaugh.
Therefore, although the director was dissatisfied with Zoey's behavior, he could only do as Zoey pleased.
"Margaret, I'm really sorry. Tomorrow's filming may be postponed until next week."
Initially, Margaret was set to have a fighting scene with Zoey in the following day's play,
"It's okay. Just call my assistant when it's my turn." Margaret was fine with it.
"Okay." The director said as he smiled with great relief.
After Margaret removed her makeup, Lacy immediately brought a glass of ice Americano to her and asked, "Margaret, do you want to go home?"
"No, let's go back to Galaxy Entertainment." Margaret said.
Sandra had sent her several text messages asking her to quickly drop by Galaxy Entertainment.
"Okay." Lacy nodded.
There was a small room inside the nanny car.
In the beginning, Zachary had treated her well and luxuriously in order to make others hate her.
Yet, this had given Margaret, a newbie who had just debuted, a perk to enjoy.
Not everyone could enjoy such treatment.
After rolling around on the big bed, Margaret closed her eyes and rested for a while.
After some time, Lacy gently woke her up. It was only then Margaret came to her senses.
"Margaret, we've arrived."
"Okay." Margaret nodded.
She got out of the nanny car and headed into Galaxy Entertainment.
Others started envying Margaret since her popularity and fan base grew exponentially.
Under the envious and jealous stares of several small artists, Margaret entered the office.
"Margaret, you're finally here. Did you really acknowledge me as your manager?" Sandra could not help but question Margaret angrily when she saw her.
Margaret was her artist, but she went to the Riley Banquet behind her back. She even had something to do with Madam Ally.
Sandra remembered clearly that she had torn the invitation card to Riley Banquet and threw it into the trash can.
Which friend told Margaret about it?
"Ha, if you hadn't mentioned it, I'd have almost forgotten that I still have a manager." Margaret looked at her sarcastically.
"You!"
"What can I do for you today?" Margaret asked impatiently.
"The company is asking you to apologize publicly on the internet!" Sandra said sternly. "Apologize to Stephanie!"
