Listening to Zane's words, Yanis looked up at him, "He won't leave us, right?"
Zane nodded, leaning down to kiss her forehead gently. "Nothing will happen, I promise."
Yanis was also nervous deep down, afraid that she might not be able to keep this hard-won child.
Phoebe quickly completed the hospitalization procedures.
"Sis, I'm sorry. If it wasn't for me, things wouldn't have turned out like this," Phoebe regretted herself upon hearing the doctor's words.
She blamed herself for starting the argument with Lisa, which led Jo to come and help his mother, Yanis to intervene, and the subsequent events.
Phoebe was well aware of Yanis and Zane's struggles because of the two previous children, and Yanis had never been pregnant before. Now that she finally had a child, Phoebe feared that something might go wrong, leaving Yanis in distress for the rest of her life.
Yanis looked at Phoebe and shook her head gently, "It's not your fault; don't blame yourself."
She then asked about Rachel's condition, "How is your mom? I noticed that the fall she took was quite severe."
Phoebe realized that she hadn't checked on Rachel yet, and she was at a loss. "I... haven't seen her yet."
Even Phoebe forgot to ask whether Rachel had come to the hospital or not.
Yanis spoke softly, "Go check on her quickly; I'll be fine here."
Phoebe nodded and turned to Zane, "Bro, you take care of Yanis. I'll go check on my mom."
Zane agreed, "I'll come over later."
"Don't worry about it. Stay here and look after my sister-in-law. My dad is with my mom," Phoebe said softly.
Zane didn't say much to Phoebe and reminded her, "Don't mention the pregnancy to them for now. If they ask, just say everything is fine."
Phoebe nodded, "Got it."
