Anthony saw that Zane remained silent and approached him a bit, saying, "I've done my research. Brandon's rumored love interest is his childhood friend. Do you think that a random person can compare to someone from his past?"
Zane glanced at Anthony indifferently and replied briefly, "Brandon won't go back to the past."
Anthony shrugged it off, "I'm not a saint, so I'll definitely take advantage of an opportunity."
Upon hearing Anthony's words, Zane's brow twitched slightly, but he didn't say much.
Anthony continued, "So, does this count as a favor owed to me?"
Zane glanced at Anthony's face and calmly said, "Yes."
Anthony nodded, "Good, just remember it. I'm outta here!"
After exchanging greetings with Zane, Anthony left with his gang on motorcycles.
Once Anthony left, Allan and Evan approached.
Allan looked in the direction Anthony left and asked, "When did you become so friendly with Anthony?"
Zane replied in a low voice, "He's useful."
"What's the plan?" Allan inquired.
Zane didn't elaborate and focused on their injuries. He looked at Allan and said, "Do you live at Mitch's place?"
Allan nodded, "It's convenient to take care of Reed."
Allan had something to discuss with Haider about the small apartment, but he hadn't had the chance yet.
Zane nodded, "I'll give you Haider's contact later."
Allan agreed, "Okay."
Zane turned to Evan, "Thanks for your help tonight."
Evan waved it off, "No problem."
Allan asked Zane, "Want me to drop you off?"
Zane checked the time on his watch and nodded, "Sure."
Evan had some other business to attend to at the black market, so he didn't join Allan and Zane.
"You guys go ahead. I still have something to deal with here," Evan said.
Allan agreed, and the two of them left the black market together.
