I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 1100

Chapter 1100: Why Do You Believe in Him More Than I Do?

Sandy nodded, "Yeah, he even got beaten up and knelt for two days."

Brandon listened to Sandy's words without responding.

"Brandon, how much did you pay for that house?" Sandy inquired.

"Over twenty million," Brandon replied, reaching out to take the bank card from Sandy's hand. "I'll talk to Nelson about this matter."

Sandy agreed, "Sure, if I can help, I will."

Brandon ruffled Sandy's hair gently, "Got it, let's go inside."

The news about Jim and Nelson's situation had spread within their circle.

It happened on the eve of Sandy and Brandon's engagement ceremony.

The news caused quite a commotion.

Not everyone within their social circle was morally upright.

Consequently, the rumors circulating were quite unpleasant to hear.

Those hurtful words were like sharp knives, mercilessly slicing at Jim and Nelson.

However, the two of them remained unfazed, continuing to go about their business as usual.

This was all because of Sandy and Brandon's engagement ceremony.

Yanis, Zane, Stella, and even Bonnie had all arrived in Viteto a day ahead of the ceremony.

They were all well-informed about the situation.

Interestingly, this group of friends was supportive rather than judgmental.

As Sandy sipped her milk and scrolled through her phone, she mumbled curses under her breath.

Stella couldn't take it anymore, "Can't you keep those thoughts in your head instead of muttering?"

Sandy glanced at Stella, "I just can't stand the offensive things they're saying!"

Stella agreed, "I know these people have nothing better to do, but it's none of their business."

In today's society, people behind screens could say anything, and people of all sorts would emerge.

Stella leaned closer to Sandy, glancing at the content on her phone before taking it from her gently, "People will talk, there's nothing we can do to stop them. They just want to be together, it's not like they've done something unforgivable. There's no need to let it bother you."

Sandy sighed, "It's just frustrating that these people have nothing better to do. Why do they care so much about other people's business when they can't even manage their own?"

"They've chosen a difficult path, and many unexpected things are bound to happen. It's part of the territory," Yanis whispered.

Stella nodded, "That's right."

Sandy clicked her tongue a couple of times and then turned her gaze to Nelson, who was sitting in the small living room. She sighed again.

Stella couldn't hold back her curiosity, "Wait, Sandy, how long have you been in Viteto, and why are you so close with Nelson? Aren't you worried about making Brandon jealous or angry?"

Sandy waved her hand dismissively, "You wouldn't understand. Nelson and I are like good sisters now."

Stella exchanged glances with Yanis, then commented, "I suppose that makes sense."

Yanis added, "That's one way to put it."

Bonnie observed Sandy for a moment before shifting her gaze away silently, not offering an opinion.
