"Let me."
As the male doctor was about to disinfect the injury for Yanis, Zane suddenly said.
Yanis and Bonnie looked at him at the same time.
Zane walked over in a few steps and stood in front of Yanis, repeating, "Let me."
Bonnie immediately refused, "Mr. Lawrence, we appreciate it. But we got this."
Then Bonnie looked at the male doctor, "Do it."
The male doctor took a subconscious look at Zane and then began to disinfect for Yanis.
Yanis hissed because of the pain.
Bonnie put her hand at Yanis's mouth, "Bite my hand if it hurts."
Yanis shook her head, "I can take it."
"Zane..."
Just then, Neve called Zane's name.
"It hurts..."
Bonnie glanced at Neve, "Mr. Lawrence, there's someone who really needs you. I've got Yanis here."
Zane frowned, looking at Yanis.
Yanis wasn't going to speak, but she couldn't bear the gaze. "Go check her."
Catherine did not like Neve, but after a look at Yanis, she said to Zane in a low voice, "Just go, we've got Yanis here."
Zane took a look at Catherine, hesitated, and walked over to Neve.
Looking at his back, plus the pain from her palm, Yanis suddenly felt a sharp pain and couldn't help groaning. There were tears in her eyes.
She didn't know if it was simply because of the pain in her palm or something else.
Catherine saw it and comforted her, "Yanis, you will feel much better soon."
Hearing her words, Yanis didn't say a word but nodded.
But what she saw out of the corner of her sight stunned her. She got tears in her eyes recalling how Neve stabbed her in the heart with that knife and tears fell down her eyes, dripping to her palm.
Seeing the tears, the doctor who was treating her wound, was stunned and looked up at her.
Yanis wiped her tears and said, "Go on."
The doctor didn't say a word but continued to get the broken glasses out of her palm.
Yanis had fair skin and the broken glass in her palm looked horrifying.
"Yanis."
Bonnie called her name in a low voice.
Yanis looked at Bonnie with the tears in her eyes. Bonnie saw her pitiful look and felt sorry.
She wanted to say something, but eventually, she simply hugged Yanis, "It won't hurt anymore."
Yanis finally broke down upon hearing her words.
Bonnie could feel Yanis trembling slightly and said with a smile, "You are a grownup now and you still can't handle pain?"
She seemed to be talking about physical pain, but she was actually making an excuse for Yanis.
Catherine sighed, looking at Yanis in Bonnie's arms, and turned to the other side.
Neve wasn't hurt too badly, there was a small injury on her head but a lot of bleeding. It looked scary.
But she would be fine.
However, Neve had been holding Zane's hand, tears constantly falling down her eyes. She looked pitiful.
"Miss Cooke, it's done."
