Chapter 370: I Want To Talk to Her
Myles was about to speak but Isabel spoke first, "Well, it's me."
"Shut up!" Bonnie said in a fierce tone, and then turned to look at Myles. "What you just said was to meet her?"
Myles opened his mouth to say something, but Bonnie reached out directly to grab Yanis and Myles. "Let's go."
Myles stood still, staring at Bonnie's face for a few seconds, then at Isabel.
Isabel flipped her curly hair behind her ear. "I want to talk to Myles. You can go with Yanis."
It was said to Bonnie.
Bonnie frowned and looked at Isabel, "You can talk to me. There is no need for you to talk to Myles."
Myles frowned slightly as he listened to Bonnie. "Bonnie, calm down, Aunt Isa..."
"Shut up!"
No one knew how nervous and scared Bonnie was right now.
"Bonnie."
Yanis said, "Shall we go to the private room and talk?"
There were so many people around. If they really did say something, it would definitely be a top trend.
Bonnie refused. "No, let's go."
"Myles, maybe we can make an appointment some other day. Since Bonnie doesn't want to see me, then I won't bother you guys."
Isabel looked at Myles and said softly.
As soon as Myles wanted to nod, Bonnie let go of Yanis and Myles's hands, stepped forward and grabbed Mingxia's hand then led the person outside.
Myles planned to follow them, but Yanis stopped him. "Myles."
Myles turned to Yanis and said, "What's wrong?"
"You... you'd better stay here."
Myles was puzzled when he heard that. "I just wanted to surprise Bonnie."
Yanis looked at Myles. "Bonnie probably won't like the surprise and she may be angry, so you..."
Yanis paused and hesitated, but she continued, "It is more appropriate for you not to get involved in the matter between Bonnie and her mother."
Myles glanced in the direction Bonnie and Isabel left, then turned to look at Yanis. "Do you know anything?"
Yanis pursed her lips and said softly, "I do know something, but I couldn't tell you now. Bonnie will tell you one day."
Myles twisted his eyebrows and nodded. "Okay, you guys go upstairs first, I'll wait for her here."
Yanis didn't dare to go upstairs. She waved to Sandy.
Sandy trotted over. "Yanis, is Bonnie all right?"
Yanis shook her head, "Let's wait for her here for a while and go upstairs with Bonnie?"
Sandy nodded. "OK."
Yanis was still a little worried that Sandy would be recognized.
"Let's go where no one was here." Myles knew that Sandy couldn't be recognized, so he pointed to the hallway beside and whispered.
Yanis glanced in the direction Myles was pointing and walked over with Sandy.
Myles stood by the window, staring out the window.
It took about ten minutes before Bonnie rushed in.
Seeing Bonnie come in, Myles stepped forward. "Bonnie."
When Bonnie saw Myles, her eyebrows moved slightly and she said softly. "You can go back first."
Than done, Bonnie went to Yanis and Sandy.
Myles reached out and grabbed Bonnie's wrist. "Are you mad at me?"
Bonnie stopped and turned to look at him after hearing his words. "Have you been in contact with her?"
Myles shook his head, "No, Aunt Isabel called me two days ago. I think you haven't seen each other for so many years, so…"
"You…" Bonnie interrupted him. Meeting Myles's gaze, she didn't say out the words that came to her lips.
In the end, she only whispered. "Well, since you've been here, we can have dinner together, otherwise Brandon will be awkward being the only man."
Seeing that Bonnie didn't want to say anything, he asked no more.
They returned to the private room. Because Myles was there, Yanis didn't ask Bonnie.
Bonnie looked unaffected as usual.
It was just that after Stella brought Brandon here, Bonnie asked the waiter to bring the wine to them on the pretext of welcoming Brandon.
Stella sat next to Yanis and whispered to Yanis when she heard Bonnie ask for a drink. "Bonnie was in a bad mood."
Listening to Stella, Yanis glanced at Bonnie. "She could be very upset."
Stella glanced at Bonnie. "Did you have a fight with Myles?"
Yanis shook her head, "No, it was because of something else."
As soon as Stella heard Yanis's words, she realized that it was inappropriate to continue so she didn't ask more.
Bonnie drank a lot with Brandon, with Stella, with Sandy, and even with Myles.
Rarely, Myles didn't stop Bonnie or drink for her.
After a while, Myles reached out and snatched the glass from Bonnie's hand. "Don't drink any more."
Bonnie herself probably also thought she had drunk too much and didn't take up her glass after hearing Myles' words.
"You guys call a designated driver later and I'll take her home now."
Yanis glanced at Bonnie who was already obviously drunk and stood up. "Let's help you get her to the car."
Myles could tell that Yanis had something to talk with him, so he didn't refuse.
Yanis looked at them. "You wait for me here. I'll be right back. "
Sandy got drunk easily. After two drinks, she leaned against Brandon and couldn't move.
Stella was a heavy drinker. She waved to Yanis when she heard her words. "OK."
That done, Stella poured a glass of wine and pushed it to Brandon, "Well, let's continue."
Brandon glanced at Sandy who was leaning against him and drank the win Stella handed over. "Stella, you'd better not drink too much."
Stella glanced at Brandon when hearing his words, "Well, do you look down on me?"
"…NO."
Stella clinked her glass with Brandon's. "Bottoms up!"
Brandon nodded. "Bottoms up!"
At the meantime, Yanis followed Myles as she watched him get Bonnie into the car. "Will you take her back to the studio, or will you take her to your house?"
Myles hesitated for a few seconds. "I want to take her to my house and talk to her."
Yanis looked at him when he heard his words. "So you didn't stop her just now and let her get drunk and tell you the truth?"
Myles laughed. "Otherwise she wouldn't tell me until the next life."
Thinking of Bonnie's temper, Yanis also thought that if she didn't want to tell him, she would keep it up all the time.
However, Yanis thought Bonnie would tell him sooner or later.
It was better to tell him early and there could be a buffer period. Both of them would accept it easily.
