Chapter 411 Not Because of Yanis?
Iris chuckled softly and supported Magnus back into the room. "Okay, don't worry, I know what I'm doing."
"Some people are better to be friends."
Magnus' voice was very soft, but he was giving reminders.
Iris replied, "I know."
Magnus looked at Iris and sighed softly. In the end, he said nothing more.
Magnus knew Iris very well.
He knew that Iris wouldn't go too far.
"Did the Johnson family call you?"
After supporting Magnus to the sofa, Iris asked in a low voice.
Magnus hummed, "You don't feel anything about that girl?"
Iris bent over and refilled Magnus's tea, "Do you like her?"
Magnus glanced at Iris's face, "Nonsense."
Iris smiled, "I don't have any feelings for Anna. I don't mind being friends, but I don't think we could be a good match. We are not the one for each other."
Magnus picked up his teacup and took a sip. "Is it because of Yanis?"
Iris shook his head, "No, this has nothing to do with Yanis."
Magnus nodded, "Bear that in mind."
Iris hummed and didn't speak again.
...
The black Bentley was driving along the wide road at constant speed.
In the co-pilot, Yanis looked sideways at Zane, who was driving seriously, "Did you fight with Myles?"
The injury on Myles' face was obvious. Zane's was on his hand, so Yanis saw it when he held the steering wheel.
Hearing what Yanis said, Zane pursed his lower lip and said softly, "No."
Yanis pointed to the wound on Zane's hand, "Then what is this?"
Zane held the steering wheel with his left hand, and held Yanis' hand in his right. "It was an accident."
Yanis didn't take her hand back, nor did she speak. She just looked at him.
Zane coughed lightly, "I accidentally hurt my hand. There are no other injuries."
"With Myles?"
"Myles and I fought someone on the black market."
Yanis reacted instantly when she heard Zane's words, "Did you find Antonio?"
Zane hummed, held Yanis' hand, and rubbed it lightly, "I asked Myles to send him directly to the police station. He overdosed tonight, so I knocked him unconscious and sent him there."
After speaking, Zane tilted his head and glanced at Yanis's face, "Can you inform the Thompsons?"
Thinking of Olivia's expression that day, Yanis hesitated for a few seconds, "I'll think about it tomorrow.
"Myles knew some people over there. They won't let him out until he completely gets rid of drugs."
Yanis didn't expect Zane to be involved in this matter. She shook Zane's hand, "Thank you."
"Don't mention it."
Yanis suddenly remembered what Old Mr. Duncan said tonight. She thought for a while and then said, "Zane, there is something I want to discuss with you."
Yanis didn't intend to hide it from Zane. She wanted to tell Zane first.
Zane looked at her, "What's it?"
Yanis told Zane about the competition. "I want to go and have a try."
Zane didn't object but asked, "Are you leaving Manches City?"
Yanis shook his head, "No, it's held in Manches City. There is a special venue. I'll just go and draw a little every day."
"Then go, I will send you there every day."
"Okay."
For Antonio's matter, Yanis took a taxi to Thompson Residence after breakfast the next day.
The car stopped at the door. Yanis got out after paying the fare.
Standing at the gate of Thompson Residence, Yanis felt like a dream.
It was her home, but she didn't feel at home.
The door suddenly opened and Martin came out. He was surprised when he saw Yanis standing at the door. A moment later, he smiled and said, "What brought you here? Are you alone? Didn't Zene come?"
Hearing Martin's words, Yanis came back to her sense, "I came here myself."
Martin turned sideways. "Come in, your mother is here too."
Yanis nodded and followed Martin in.
The yard looked different.
Yanis paused when he saw a new car parked there.
Martin explained with some embarrassment, "This car... We borrowed the money from your grandfather. It was for Antonio. But he..."
To make Antonio get rid of drugs, Martin and Olivia tried a lot of ways.
They bought a luxury car for Antonio, but it didn't change anything.
The car had been here since it was taken back.
The car keys were in Olivia's hands. Otherwise, Antonio would probably have sold the car long ago.
Hearing Martin's words, Yanis didn't say anything. She followed Martin into the house.
"Honey, Yanis is back." Martin cried.
Olivia quickly responded. She came down the stairs. When she saw Yanis, she looked very excited.
She wanted to hold Yanis' hand, but Yanis avoided it. "I'm here for Antonio."
Yanis cut straight to the point.
Upon hearing this, Olivia immediately asked, "Where is he now? Does he agree to come back with you? "
"He is sent to rehab."
The smile on Olivia's face froze instantly when she heard that.
After a while, Olivia raised her voice, "Why did you send him to such a place? Who gave you the right to send him there? "
Olivia was very emotional. She looked at Yanis angrily, "Did you know that would leave a record, how will he make friends in the future?"
Yanis was expressionless, "Do you want his life ruined?
Olivia said angrily, "You're ruining his life by sending him there!"
Martin was more direct. He grabbed Yanis' arm, "We're going to bring Antonio back now!"
Yanis shook off Martin's hand forcefully, and said coldly, "He can't leave! Until he gets rid of drugs. "
Martin raised his hand and intended to slap Yanis in the face.
But he stopped before actually touching her. Something seemed to have occured to him, and he cursed, "Bastard!"
