I Become A CEO After Divorce novel Chapter 420

Chapter 420: You and Sandy Can Wait, What about Your Family?

Brandon's voice came from the phone. "I'm not busy."
Stella mulled over her words, but asked directly, "Brandon, are you thirty-two this year?"
Brandon responded with an inexplicably nervous tone, "Stella, did something happen?"
Brandon had worried before that Sandy's family would object to their relationship because he was much older than Sandy.
But after meeting Stella, she showed no objection.
Brandon couldn't help but heave a sigh of relief. But now Stella suddenly asked about it, Brandon still became nervous instantly.
"Don't worry, I'm not asking you this because I think you're older than Sandy."
As if having seen through Brandon's thoughts, Stella explained it quickly.
After hearing Stella's words, Brandon breathed a sigh of relief, "Stella, if you have anything to say, just tell me. You are making me very nervous now."
Stella chuckled. "It's no big deal, I just want to ask, has your family urged you to marry Sandy as soon as possible?"
Stella's question made Brandon nervous again. " Stella, did Sandy tell you something? I'm not in a hurry to get married. It depends on Sandy. If Sandy wants to, I will marry her. "
Stella said, "Brandon, Sandy is quite capricious. Her thoughts may be influenced by things that happen around her, and she will make inappropriate decisions, so I want to ask about what's on your mind. Have you ever thought about it?"
Just as Brandon wanted to speak, Stella spoke first, "You just tell me the truth."
Brandon was silent for a few seconds, then said, "I have thought about it."
As soon as Stella heard Brandon's words, she immediately understood, regardless of whether the Hawkins family urged Brandon or not, he had thought about it, but Brandon was more of respecting Sandy's decision.
So, the pressure to get married might have been on Brandon.
"Have you talked to Sandy?" Stella asked.
Brandon paused for a few seconds. "No, I don't want to put too much pressure on her, and her career has just got better now. I want to wait..."
"You can afford to wait, and Sandy can't either." Stella interrupted Brandon. "Have you ever thought about your family?"
Brandon suddenly fell silent, because Stella was telling the truth.
Although there was no hard push on him to marry Sandy, Kason mentioned it more than once in front of him.
"Stella, I will find time to talk to Sandy about this matter. If she doesn't want to, don't worry." Brandon said in a low voice, "I will explain to my mother."
Stella wanted to say something at first, but once Sandy made a decision, it was not easy to change, so Stella didn't say anything. She wanted to chat with Sandy first.
After hanging up on Brandon's phone, Stella opened the door and got out of the car.
"I see your car has been parked outside for a long time, why don't you come in?" Yanis opened the door for Stella and turned sideways to let Stella in.
Stella changed her shoes at the entrance. "I was on a call."
"I told Bonnie that Myles might not have time today, so let's go and have a look later. I'll ask Bonnie to take some photos and show them to Myles."
Stella responded, "All right, are you ready? Let's go over and have a look."
"Okay, just sit down for a while, and I'll change my clothes."
After beckoning Stella to sit down on the sofa, Yanis went upstairs.
After Yanis changed her clothes, the two went out together.
"Let's go to Bonnie's studio to pick her up." Yanis got into the co-pilot seat and turned her head to look at Stella.
Stella responded, "Okay."
The two went to Bonnie's studio first from D-king Castle.
When they arrived, Bonnie was taking a size with a client, and the two were sitting in the office inside, waiting for Bonnie.
This client was a bit hard to please. He had various requirements.
If it weren't for the fact that the payment was great, Bonnie would have just refused the customer.
Bonnie held back her anger and finished the job. Then she walked the client to the door and took back her smile. "It's really toxic!"
"Bonnie, when did you have such a good temper?"
The young assistant behind Bonnie whispered.
Bonnie glanced at the little assistant's face. "You are still young, so you don't understand."
The little assistant pouted. "If the man hadn't nodded to confirm it, I think you would have gone mad."
Bonnie sneered. "You are such a great observer."
The little assistant smiled. "That's right, you are the most important person in my heart!"
Bonnie narrowed her eyes when she heard this. "Tell me what you want?"
The little assistant coughed lightly. "Er… I have a date with my boyfriend for dinner tonight, can I get off work at six o'clock?"
Bonnie looked at the little assistant in front of her. "How many boyfriends have you changed?"
"Just... three, four, five, six."
Bonnie was a little speechless. "Little girl, can't you find a reliable one to settle down with?"
The little assistant curled her lips. "They all think that I have no future in doing this, and they all talk about marriage. They want me to resign. But, becoming a top designer is my dream! I would rather change my boyfriend than my dream!"
Hearing what the little assistant said, Bonnie didn't know what to say for a while.
"Okay, get off work at 5:30. I don't have much work for you today." Bonnie raised her hand and rubbed her hair. "Go fix your hair, it looks like grass!"
The little assistant replied, "Then I have to get off work now. After all, it takes a long time to do a hairstyle."
Bonnie, "You can go now."
"Thank you, boss! You are so generous!"
Bonnie looked at the little assistant who ran away, sighed, then turned around and entered the office inside.
"I'm ready, let's go." Bonnie looked at the two people sitting on the sofa. "We go there directly? Or let's go to eat something first?"
Stella glanced at the time. "Let's find something to eat first. It's not something that's in a hurry anyway."
Bonnie changed into her coat. "Let's go, I'll treat you to a Mexican lunch!"
"Mexican food for lunch?"
"Why can't we eat Mexican food at noon?" Bonnie quickly tidied up her clothes. "Let's go."
The three of them drove to a nearby Mexican restaurant.
Before, Bonnie and Yanis used to come to eat and sometimes bring people from the studio, so they knew the boss there.
"Bonnie, nice to see you today."
Bonnie smiled and said, "I missed you."
The owner of this restaurant was a tough woman in her early thirties who had opened nearly a dozen chain stores in Manches City.
Her business was booming.
The owner smiled. "It's a coincidence that I missed you too."
Speaking of which, the owner looked at Bonnie. "Do you want to eat in the private box or the outside?"
"Give us a private room," Bonnie said.
"No problem, you can go upstairs. There is a small private room upstairs that is available."
While the owner was talking, she called the waiter over and took Bonnie and the others upstairs.
