Chapter 442 He is like me
Yanis responded, "You go about your business."
After Zane left, Yanis went to Aunt Jillian's room.
Just when she reached the door, she bumped into Sandy who came with Brandon.
Probably because of the busy night, Sandy looked obviously a little tired.
"Yanis?"
Sandy was a bit shocked when she saw Yanis. "Why are you here so early?"
Yanis said, "I stayed here last night."
After saying that, Yanis glanced at Brandon, "Auntie is fine."
Brandon whispered his thanks.
Yanis shook his head, "You are welcome."
Yanis looked at Sandy, "Is everything settled?"
Sandy nodded, "Just leave the rest to the lawyers."
Yanis wanted to say something else, but thought that Sandy had been busy all night and rushed over here, so she must want to see Aunt Jillian. She didn't say much, "Come in."
Sandy was still a little nervous and grabbed Brandon's hand very hard.
After ringing the doorbell, the person who came to open the door was Kason Hawkins.
When he saw Brandon and Sandy, Kason smiled and moved sideways, "Come on in."
Sandy nodded at Kason with some formality, "Hello, Kason."
Kason responded and turned to Aunt Jillian inside, "Mom, Sandy and Brandon are here."
Aunt Jillian's voice came out quickly, "Let them in."
Last night, Aunt Jillian was indeed a bit upset when she saw Sandy's video.
But in the middle of the night, Brandon called and explained everything.
This cleared up her misunderstanding of the whole thing.
She also knew that someone was targeting Sandy on purpose.
When Sandy entered the door, she was much more nervous when she saw Aunt Jillian than when she first met her at Viteto.
Like a child who had done something wrong, she was careful.
"Don't be nervous." Brandon whispered in Sandy's ear.
Aunt Jillian reached out and pulled Sandy to sit down on the sofa. "We all know what happened last night. It's unfair to you."
When Sandy heard Aunt Jillian's words, tears fell before she could speak.
But the good thing was that things finally came to an end.
Brandon originally wanted to propose last night on Sandy's birthday, but because of the unexpected timing, it had to be postponed.
Yanis stayed in the hotel for a while and then went back.
After all, the purpose of Brandon's visit was very clear. He wanted to discuss with Sandy about their marriage.
So as an "outsider", Yanis couldn't stay here.
After saying hello to Aunt Jillian, Yanis went to Bonnie's studio first.
Bonnie had just finished eating and was clearing the table.
"Did you have breakfast or lunch at this hour?" Yanis asked her.
Bonnie put her things away. "I had an urgent order this morning, so I've been busy until this minute. I'm a little hungry."
"So busy recently?"
Bonnie hummed, "It's not too hot or cold these two days, so there are a lot of people holding weddings."
After that Bonnie turned her face to Yanis and said, "How is Sandy? I saw her tweets and Linda explained what happened to me. The compensation must be quite a lot, right? "
Yanis nodded, "Probably around three hundred million."
Bonnie hissed, "That much?"
"At minimum."
Bonnie poured Yanis a cup of coffee and put it in front of her. "Sandy is really strong."
"Now with such a drama, I'm not sure if Haider will still sign Sandy."
Bonnie looked at Yanis after hearing her words. "Gotrend Entertainment is owned by Haider alone, so as long as he gives his word, it will definitely be fine."
Yanis thought Bonnie's words made sense.
Simsang Entertainment was managed by several shareholders, so it was not just up to a single person to decide.
But Haider was the only owner of Gotrend Entertainment, so as long as Haider nodded his approval, it would be absolutely fine.
However, this was the idea between the two of them.
The decision whether to sign Sandy or not was still up to Haider.
After all, signing an artist was not a trivial matter.
The two of them chatted for a while, and then Bonnie chaned the subject to business.
"I never asked you before, but what are your next plans?" Bonnie looked at Yanis and asked in a low voice.
Yanis naturally knew what Bonnie was referring. "Is there any empty place around here?"
Bonnie said, "The lease of the bubble tea shop next to my place will expire in half a month, and the owner plans to transfer it recently. If you have made up your mind, I will directly rent this place and tear down to walls."
Yanis said in a low voice, "Or as we agreed, I'll just take that place."
Bonnie nodded, "Okay, then I will talk to the boss later. After you have rented the place, then I can remove the wall in between."
Yanis said, "Good. I have almost finished the design of the interior of the showroom."
Bonnie was a bit shocked, "So soon?"
"Two days ago, I was at home with nothing to do, so I finished it. I originally wanted to tell you yesterday."
Bonnie leaned on the sofa somewhat casually. "This can get done soon, at most half a month. I know people who can work on it, and I will tell them in advance and ask them to finish it as soon as possible."
Yanis nodded, "Okay."
"By the way." Bonnie suddenly remembered something. She got up and took the tablet from one side of the table, then sat down beside Yanis. "Look at this."
Yanis looked down. "This... I have seen this before?"
"Back in college, I drew a rough draft. You also said at that time that you would use this when you got married."
Yanis then remembered it after Bonnie said so. "Then you changed it a little bit?"
Bonnie said, "No, just added something to the original one."
"I can't use the design now."
Bonnie said, "Scumbag didn't plan to give you a big wedding all over again?"
"Not necessary to do that."
Bonnie said righteously, "How is that unnecessary? You got your marriage license like a thief. No wedding. Actually nothing at all, and that's it?"
In fact, Yanis had a fantasy when she agreed to marry Zane.
Wearing a white wedding dress. Blessings from families and friends.
But the reality was always very bleak. They did not have a grand wedding, and no white wedding dress.
The Lawrences had a meal together, and then went to get a license the next day.
What followed were five years of a titular marriage to which she had always been devoted unrequitedly.
When she thought of what happened before, Yanis still felt a bit depressed.
But now she felt much better.
Thinking about what Robin Read said that day, Yanis tilted her head to look at Bonnie and whispered, "He's just like me."
Bonnie didn't respond for a moment, "What's like you?"
