Chapter 648: Be Honest from Now On

Myles was cooking while talking, "Still sleeping." After speaking, Myles glanced back and lowered his voice, "You have better stamina than my Bonnie!" Yanis: "..." Yanis felt that everyone was a bit abnormal, so he ignored Myles and walked out of the kitchen directly.
"Wendy, you rest and let him do it. Let him clean up later." Wendy smiled and said, "Okay." After responding to Wendy's words, she looked at Yanis and asked: "During this time when Albi sent things over to be moved back to D-king Castle? Have you made up with Mr. Lawrence?" Yanis didn't want to hide anything either and nodded generously: "We've made up." Wendy nodded in agreement: "Be good together from now on. Don't make trouble anymore. Life is still short." When Yanis heard this from Wendy, he couldn't help but glance at Myles before nodding again,"Yes."
Wendy was also happy for Yanis,"Go pack your things and go home with Mr. Lawrence." Yanis nodded,"Okay". With Zane upstairs packing their stuffs , when they opened the door they saw that everything piled in the room had disappeared which showed how fast Albi worked.
Yanis actually didn't have much to pack except for some work-related items, some daily necessities, and some clothes. Two simple large boxes were enough. Zane whispered:"The first floor study can accommodate two desks. I'll have Albi tidy it up this afternoon."
Hearing what Zane said, Yanis looked at Zane's face without saying anything else. He just lightly nodded his head,"Okay". Zane carried the two large boxes packed by Yanis downstairs into the car. When he turned around, Bonnie who had just woken up came down. Bonnie walked a few steps then turned back towards Zane shouting:"Zane!" Upon hearing Bonnie's voice, Zane turned around looking at her asking:"What's wrong?""Are you here to pick up Yanis?" Zane nodded in response.
"Be honest from now on, don't mess around. If you keep it up, your generation will all end up single!" Bonnie said sternly.
Zane acknowledged her words with a grunt. "Okay, I got it."
Bonnie was about to say something else but stopped herself mid-sentence. "Alright then, go do your thing. I'm going to eat, starving."
After speaking, Bonnie turned and walked into the kitchen.
Zane stood there for a few seconds before heading upstairs again.
When Yanis and Zane finished packing everything they needed to take with them, Yanis asked Zane to go ahead without him because a client had requested a change of style and he couldn't leave just yet.
Zane also planned on meeting Finnley that afternoon so after exchanging some words with Yanis he brought their things back to D-king Castle first.
"It's good that you two made up," Bonnie said softly as she sat down next to Yanis after finishing her meal.
Yanis grunted in response. "What about you? Did you make up too?"
Bonnie fell silent for a few seconds before speaking again. "Yanis... he's sick."
Upon hearing this news from Bonnie, Yanis reached out and pulled her into an embrace while whispering reassuringly in her ear: "Everything will be alright."
Taking a deep breath afterwards, Bonnie continued: "I've made my decision; I won't wait until his birthday anymore. Once he gets discharged from the hospital in two days' time I'll propose marriage to him."
Yanis didn't say anything regarding Bonnie's decision but promised: "I'll make sure they speed things up and pay extra for expedited service if necessary."
Hearing this from Yanis caused Bonnie to hug him tightly while exclaiming: "My dear Yanis is so good to me!"
Yanissimply chuckled at her reaction before saying: "We both need each other."
Bonnie nodded along with his words before adding: "We both need each other."
Since Myles had confessed earlier on that day, Bonnie went along with him later when he headed overto the hospital since Myles still needed daily IV drips administered by medical professionals anyway.
Meanwhile Haider was busy dealing with another matter when he received Bonnies call informinghim of Myles' condition. He was currently dealingwith one of their company's artists who had been caught by paparazzi checking intoa hotel togetherwitha real estate tycoon. The artisthad only recently started gaining popularityand fame, andhad even landeda very popular variety show gig just days ago. Ifthis scandal broke out, it would definitely affecthis future prospects. Havingjust signedthe contractforthevariety show, Haidernow found himselfin quite adilemma.
So this matter has caused quite a stir.
There's also a certain amount of penalty to be paid.
The artist, however, refuses to admit it.
Even with high-definition photos presented in front of the artist, they still claim that they were momentarily possessed...
"I'll come over later." Haider couldn't leave, and after finding out that Myles was okay, he could only wait until everything was settled before going over.
Myles appeared suddenly and disappeared just as quickly.
Evan had been waiting outside the hospital for a while now.
When Myles came with Bonnie, Evan looked at her and said, "Bonnie, move aside so you don't hit him."
Bonnie grabbed onto Myles' arm. "If you want to hurt him then you'll have to go through me first."
Evan: "..."
Pointing at the two of them he could only grit his teeth and say bitterly: "You're something else!"
Myles raised his hand and pulled Bonnie into his arms. "What are you doing here?"
"What am I doing here? I heard someone went missing without a trace so I came by for some entertainment. Who knew I'd get some dog food too?"
Evan's tone was full of disdain but after saying what he wanted to say he turned towards Myles. "What happened?"
Myles raised an eyebrow slightly. "Nothing much really... I might have lost my mind for a moment there."
Evan didn't say anything further after giving him one look; with Bonnie around there were things that couldn't be asked directly so Evan naturally understood what had happened already without needing more information from Myles himself.
After entering the ward together with both people they waited until Myles got hooked up on an IV drip; originally Bonnie planned on staying behind but she received news from one of her clients who suddenly needed her services earlier than expected due to an urgent business trip.
"You should go take care of your work first," said Myles softly after Bonnie hung up on her phone call. He looked towards her before continuing in hushed tones: "With Evan here watching over me nothing will happen; once everything is settled down here I'll give you a call and we can meet up later."
Instead of responding immediately like she usually would've done in this situation when it came down between choosing work or taking care of someone important like family or friends she instead glanced towards Evan asking if he had any plans for the afternoon.
Shaking his head slightly Evan replied back: "I don't have anything going on right now - don't worry about it though - just focus on your work." After pausing briefly he added "Once everything is taken care off we'll give you guys a call."
Bonnie smiled gently before thanking Mr Perry (referring affectionately towards Evan) before leaving hurriedly knowing full well how impatient Mr Perry could get when left alone too long especially since she knew how much trouble these two men tended to cause each other whenever left alone together without anyone else present as well...
