After listening to Yanis, Zane fell silent for a few seconds. "Let's wait for the news from Dr. Wood and until Anika wakes up," he finally said.

Yanis nodded. "Alright."

Iris finished her call and turned to Zane and Yanis. "There's something going on at the company. I'll go handle it and come back later."

Yanis nodded again. "You go ahead. We'll be here."

With that, Iris acknowledged Zane with a nod and left.

Not long after Iris left, Anika woke up and was taken to a private ward by the nurse.

Yanis approached the bedside and sat down on the chair. She looked at Anika lying on the hospital bed. "Anika?"
