Chapter 805: Do you think I'm someone who gives up easily?

fter Yanis got off the plane, she went straight to the hospital with Zane. Albi parked the car at the entrance of the hospital.

Yanis looked at Zane and said, "You and Phoebe go back first. I'll go in by myself."

"I'll accompany you," Zane said as he was about to get out of the car.

Yanis spoke up, "You go back first and rest for a while before coming to pick me up. I want to spend more time with Bonnie."

At this point, Phoebe timely spoke up, "Brother, you should go back first. Sister-in-law probably wants to chat with Miss Cooke. It's not convenient for her if we're all here talking about certain topics anyway; besides sister-in-law is here so she won't run away."

Zane glanced at Phoebe then looked at Yanis and said, "Then I'll come pick you up later."

Yanis nodded in agreement saying,"Okay, send Phoebe home first then also take some rest yourself."

Zane responded with an affirmative sound saying,"If there's anything just give me a call."

"Okay."

Zane sat in his car watching Yanis enter the hospital before instructing Albi to drive.

"What? Worried about sister-in-law?"

Phoebe asked as she saw Zane looking outside through his window.

Zane lifted his gaze towards Phoebe and asked an unrelated question: "What's going on between you and Ivan?"

After hearing Zanes words , Phobe casually replied,"It's nothing much really; I like him but he doesn't like me."

Upon hearing what Phobe had just said, Zanes looked at her asking again ,"So did you give up?"

Phobe adjusted her sitting position replying ,"Do you think that I'm someone who gives up easily?"

"Keep trying then."

Zanes replied indifferently.

After listening, Zanes' words , Phobe chuckled lightly saying ,"Brother, you were being selfish when telling me that, right? You're worried that Ivan might still have designs on sister-in-law, right?"

Looking calmly towards her, Zanes replied lightly,"If that's how it seems right now, you should keep trying for your sister-in-law too".

With a sound of agreement from Phobe, she added:"Even if it wasn't for my sister-in-law, I'd still have to keep trying so that my brother doesn't end up alone".

"Albi, park here. Let her get down now."

Albi cleared his throat before speaking seriously: "I am Mr. Lawrence's subordinate. I naturally have to listen Mr. Lawrence's orders."

Nodding in agreement , Phobe added,"Yes, you should listen my brother. Otherwise he might deduct half your salary or something."

Albi nodded with deep emotion. "Did I miss something?" Zane asked lightly.

Albi shook her head quickly. "No, nothing really happened."

Phoebe couldn't help but laugh at Albi's nervous expression. "Albi, just take me back to the Lawrence Mansion now. I'll go back by myself later."

Phoebe turned to Zane and asked, "Brother, do you want to go back and spend time with Grandma and Grandpa?"

Zane checked the time on his watch before replying, "Sure."

At the hospital, when Yanis went to find Bonnie's ward, she saw Stella and Wendy inside helping Bonnie eat an apple while Alfie stood beside her talking.

Yanis couldn't help but smile at the scene.

"Sister Yanis!" Before Yanis could enter the room, Alfie spotted her first and ran towards her.
