Yanis remained still, allowing him to hold her.

After a while, Zane's voice sounded in Yanis' ear, "Has Phoebe contacted you during this time?"

Upon hearing Zane's words, Yanis let go of his hand and looked at him. "What's wrong with Phoebe?"

"She hasn't been seen for a long time in Seacity, and nobody has been able to reach her. Uncle Brandon received a call from Seacity, and he's planning to go there. But he had an accident on the way and is now in the hospital."

As soon as Yanis heard this, she looked at Zane anxiously. "Is he seriously injured?"

"Has Phoebe or anyone else called you?"

After saying that, Yanis hung up the phone, then shook her head at Zane. "Ivan said she came back."

Zane frowned upon hearing this. "I'll have Albi look for her."

Yanis nodded. "Let someone find her."

After saying that, Yanis looked at Zane and whispered, "Let's go visit Uncle Brandon and the others later. Even though the injuries are not serious, we should still go check on them."

"Tomorrow morning, I'll come to pick you up and we'll go together."

Yanis nodded. "Okay."

At eight o'clock in the evening, just after Yanis finished taking a shower, she received a call from Haider.
