“It’s so cold. Why are you wearing so little?” 

A husky voice came from above her head, causing Amelia to fall into a trance again.

Then, he touched Amelia’s icy face and hugged her tightly into his 

embrace.

After James convinced himself, he picked up Amelia who was 

dazed, and returned to the car. 

He ordered the driver to tune the heater to heat up the seat. Then, 

he fetched a blanket and wrapped it around Amelia’s body. 

He warmed his hands, grabbed her hands that were red from the 

cold, and put them into his palms before continuously rubbing 

them. 

Amelia raised her suspicious eyes, staring blankly at James, who 

treated her with different emotions. She couldn’t tell what he was 

thinking. 

She even felt that she was still in the dream that she couldn’t 

come out, but the warmth brought by his hands was real.
